This place is a lifesaver for parents! Mom’s schedule that play date now Hat Creek is the perfect restaurant for families with kids – safe play area, tons of seating, and such a welcoming vibe. Gabi (the manager) is incredible at what she does and leads her team with kindness and efficiency, even when the restaurant is packed. We come in 2–3 times a month and always feel taken care of. Rain or shine, summer or winter, it’s comfortable and fun. We LOVE Hat Creek and Mrs. Gabi!

Hat Creek was great. We’ve seen them from the road but never stopped. It was the perfect option with our two small kids. I had always thought it was more of a sit down restaurant with table service but in fact it is more of a really nice fast food restaurant. Staff was excellent and playground was perfect for our kids.

I’ve only been here twice in the past 12 months, but both times the burger was extremely good and tasted very fresh. The service was solid and the atmosphere is pretty cool. The burger was actually big and thick, and the chicken nuggets were fresh and well made. The only thing that was a little under par were the French fries. They do have a great variety of sauces though, and every sauce I tried was really, really good. It’s also located very well

If you need gluten & dairy free, this is literally the only place I’ve found where you can get a (Good) hamburger…on an Actual hamburger BUN! A burger just isn’t a burger on Lettuce (that sucks all of the heat out of the meat). I only gave it 4 stars due to how much pepper they put on the patties. I have to scrape it off before i eat it but at the end…a great Real hamburger for people with food allergies! Fries…chefs kiss.

This is a great place to take toddlers and elementary age kids. The burgers are actually really good. We got the pretzel burger and the cowboy. Both were delicious. The chicken nuggets are battered and fried in-house. Their flavor was bland to our taste, but our 20 month old loved them and enjoyed dipping them in the fry sauce. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a nice outdoor playground. The covered outdoor seating is basically a big garage with huge windows that open, several large fans, and opened garage door access to the playground. There are also 3 TVs in the outdoor seating perfectly positioned, so parents that are trying to stay screen free with their toddlers can face the children away from the TVs. The play area is fenced, so you don’t have to worry about your kids running into the street. Sides/fries and drinks are extra. The kids’ meal can come with a fountain drink or an Honest Kids apple juice. The kids’ meal also has the option to get a Dole fruit cup in place of fries or tater tots. Hat Creek has a decent rewards program as well. This specific location opens at 10am even though the hours listed on the door say 11am. I also like that they’re trying to help the environment by recycling ♻️.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. It’s 30 minutes from my house but well worth the trip. Only place I can get good gluten free fried chicken here, and their fries are AMAZING. We love Hat Creek! Can we get one in sugar land please?

Food is not bad, service either but with so many burger options available they really need to step up their game….. I guess their advantage is the playground but since my kids are not interested in playgrounds anymore I rather go to another place with better burgers
