Captain Jim’s Seafood Buffet had good selection that was pretty well stocked. 11/26/2025 adult buffet without crab $28.99. Adult buffet with crab $55.99. Crab on buffet never ran out. Contrary to other comments, crab was medium size to medium/large. Salad bar had good selection. Seafood sections had good variety. Dessert was plated selection of cheesecake, Key Lime pie, chocolate cake,
etc that server brings to table. The cheesecake & Key Lime pie were both very good.

I gave it a 4 because the crab legs and shrimp were over cooked and very hard to crack andpull the meat out shrimp was not devained and was hard to peel due to being over cooked. Salmon was very dry. Baked chicken was good. Beef was tasty and tender. Very pricey if you get the crab legs $60 including tax and ice water.

The service was good from our waitress and that was it. The food here is horrible and the prices were ridiculous. $126 for two people and it was not worth it whatsoever. None of the seafood had any seasoning or taste to it. The crab cakes were flat, dry, and flavorless. All of the shrimp were mushy and tasteless. I will not ever eat there again, and would not suggest it to anyone visiting the Smoky Mountain area, definitely better food options that are of value.

Our server was awesome! Very attentive and well mannered! Kept a good consistent check on us throughout our meal. Unfortunately, that’s about the only good thing I can say about this place! Everything on the buffet accept for maybe two items tasted like it was discount grocery store, frozen food. Even that wasn’t fresh, and very stale! I’ve ate $9.99 chinese buffets with better food! Now, the reason I gave it such a low rating is for the simple fact of the price that these people charge for this very subpar dining experience! For crab, legs included in your buffet the price was $54.99!!! The restaurant seems very unclean and is in dire need of a facelift ror a pigeon forge dining experience! I went to use the restroom and wash my hands and there was water dripping from the ceiling onto my head!!! Without some much needed improvements in food quality and general atmosphere cleanliness, I would highly NOT recommend this place for anyone!!!

Ok so I’m not going to lie I was a bit nervous eating here cause of the review. It seemed like at best a hit or miss, but I loved it. The food was hot and fresh and did have good flavor. The only thing I didn’t like was the baked fish, but in saying that I don’t think people come here for the baked fish. The all you can eat crab legs were on point and they kept up with the demand. I would definitely come back. Give it a try. 54.99 with crab legs believe 28.99 with out.

So we decided to go early to beat the rush in hopes of our large group to be seated together. The staff worked with us patiently and was able to accommodate us. The variety of food was a surprise! No we did not have crab legs, but you will not be disappointed! It was hot and the cold food cold. Something for everyone as the not seafood options were really good too. They also keep the buffet well stocked.
So yes highly recommend.

Well, it did live up to the rating it was given. The stuffed flounder was very plain. I will say that the little corn on the cobs were good. The fried shrimp and catfish were great. The green beans were kind of gross. They tasted very tinny. I love clams, but they were just mainly salty. Anyway you have an opportunity you have a marvelous place. Our weight staff was very kind. Everyone was very nice. My husband felt very overpriced for the substandard food.

The service was fantastic for a group of eight. Everything we needed was right on time and our server was super friendly. The establishment is starting to show some wear. The food was good but not great. All and all, I would eat there again.

Deffinately not going back here. The food was bland, crablegs were over cooked couldnt pull meat out. Over salty. After eating here, we felt queezy to our stomachs. The tuna steak was brown like it had been sitting there for a while. Key lime pie needed more lime was bland like sugard down curdled milk . The place in general looked run down. Some food had a wang to it. Deffinately drive by this place. Service was wonderful though. Only decent thing on the bar was the butterflied shrimp. And tge coctail sauce. Not going back. Next year we will try harpoon harrys
