We come in weekly for the Tuesday special. A half chicken, 2 sides, hush puppies and a drink for $9. It’s a great value. We’ve gotten to know the staff and Jake, the manager. Food is good. Ask for the fries extra crispy and for hot hush puppies and they’ll gladly do it.

As always, when traveling, me and my family really enjoy trying the local businesses and recommendations from people.
Buddy’s Bar-B-Q was recommended but the hotel staff where we stayed. Me and my wife agreed to check it out since it was getting late and we’d been on the road all day.
So let me start off with the negatives and end with the positives because that’s always a great way to end reviews. Always on a good note.
Cons: The meat was a little salty along with the fries. Not bad if you’ve been sweating like a hand rung towel that’s soaking wet but not exactly what I’d ask for when just wanting something with flavor.
The hot dogs weren’t bad but I will admit it was heavy on the smoke flavoring and again, salt.
The chicken tenders were dry but the sauce helped moisten them up after you let it set for a bit. Not the worst I’ve had either. The chicken is fully cooked for sure which is always a plus.
Pros: Family pricing is friendly! Have a family of four and wanna keep it gentle on the wallet, you’ve got the right place.
The atmosphere is VERY COMFORTABLE! I love the feeling of an old school cabin and cool wooden benches which definitely made things great on a critically hot summer day.
The staff is very welcoming too which is another plus. The facility was thoroughly clean and not a speck of dust or dirt. Outstanding!
Overall? Worth the trip and a great place to stop in for a wallet kindness and family friendly atmosphere!

Service was great Anthony was very nice ! Was staying busy cleaning tables etc when he didn’t have a customer. Don’t see that in a lot of employees these days so Kudos to him! My husband is a bit g wing eater he said he would put these wings up against any of the places we have ate ! So kudos to the cook .

Clean eating area, friendly staff. So no issues here. The meat was a little dry and the flavor mostly comes from the sauce. But the meat was tender, and the price is family friendly. The sauce isn’t the best I have had, isn’t the worst either. It could use more hickory flavor and a little more sweet. But it’s good. The chili isn’t the best and I probably won’t get it again. The hush puppies were mediocre. They could use something to boost the flavor, but they are not horrible. I will get them again.
I am picky and compare all BBQ to Memphis, so some may rate them higher than me. I find them to be pretty good for a fast food style restaurant.
Pros: Price, fair BBQ, clean eating area, portions are not skimpy for the price.
Cons: Meat lacks flavor, chili is lacking, the meat is a little greasy all while being just a tad dry.

We haven’t been here in bc a while. But, one thing we always notice is how clean the restaurant is. I hope Buddy’s BBQ is around for many years to come. I am my husband’s caregiver and we go out to eat often. By far the cleanest restaurant around staff was kind as well.

I would like to say how disappointed I am in the number one so called store that represents good service. It is highly concerning that I would walk in to such a clean establishment to ask if a manager was present…only to be greeted by employees who don’t speak very highly of their coworkers to customers. This highly concerns me and I believe accountability should be properly assumed.

It’s not bad but to me, the brisket was covered with too much bbq sauce; and the bbq sauce had way too much vinegar. The meat and fries were OK though. We may come back for more sometimes but I wish the place was a little less fast-foody.

I know we don’t have a problem with this restaurant I’ve been going to this restaurant for years and never had a problem until today June 30,2024/ I ordered my food in the Drive-Thru I asked the person to please put my beans in a bowl they said okay, I get to the window and I asked him again to make sure that my beans are in a bowl he tells me okay they’re in a bowl , I’ll pull away come home open up my meals and they are not in. A bowl.
