Kudos to our server Anthony, and the chef!
We got engaged at the farm @ San Benito. And we celebrated by having our dinner in soufflé de vie.
The restaurant was nice, but seemed slightly outdated.
The food was spectacular, everything came out at the same time, and Anthony was very attentive to us. He even gave us a complimentary dessert to celebrate our engagement!
100/10 for the lamb chops. There was close to no gaminess at all to the meat. It was so tender and juicy. It was mindblowingly delicious. Perfectly seasoned to the bone!
10/10 the ribeye steak was delicious, a bit fatty, but perfectly cooked as well. The grilled veggies just had a little too much butter to our liking.
The garlic rice was so good, my fiancé ordered a second serving.
The food was so good overall, and we can’t stop thinking about the lamb

Soufflé de Lie in Lipa is outstanding! Perfectly cooked steak and duck, super-fresh scallops, creamy burrata, and rich foie gras — every dish was spot-on. Friendly, professional staff made the evening even better. Easily one of the best meals we’ve had outside Manila. The price is to be expected for the quality. Worth the drive! Highly recommended!

The restaurant has a very high potential. I love their steak, lambchops and food in general. The salad is so fresh! It is the service which I take exception of. And we have high expectations because of our 10.000 bill and five-star brand. The service initially went well. However during the course of the meal, that was when the problem started. I told the waiter Anthony that I have allergies as to the alfalfa sprouts. Lo and behold, my salad , soup, appetizer and steak. have alfalfa sprouts. This may cause inflammation. It did not stop there. We were literally begging for water. 20 mins have passed, and we were yet to receive our water. We ordered brewed ice tea, but we have to cancel it after waiting for 30 minutes and several follow ups. As a result, the deliciousness of the food was overshadowed by the mediocrity of the service. While I am aware that there are a lot of people in the restaurant, for a five star restaurant, it should have been anticipated. A person should have been assigned to a specific number of table to cater for the clientele’s needs. A series of blunders is not acceptable for a fine dining restaurant in a five star resort. Very sad and definitely not commensurate to our payment.

Highly recommened place! The foods are super worth the price! Just spent my sister’s birthday last night and everything was superb! special thanks to Kuya Fidel for a very hands on service and to the owner for the cake and crembrulè! Definitely be back soon!
