One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time! Cocktails, main coarse and dessert. Yum!
I loved the Seafood Tower and hubby enjoyed his Fajita Nochos. Dessert was big enough for two. Our server was Awesome! Loved our experience!!! All new tables inside really looked good. They are celebrating their 22 years anniversary serving good food and very well proportioned. Thank you Ixtapa for a great Sunday afternoon. And thanks for more than enough leftover to take home for dinner tonight. Four meals.. Yeah!

I’ve been coming here for a very long time and my family and I always enjoy the food and service but today was and will be my last day ever coming here. I was a party of 4 and when I ask the young women who was I believe the hostess to bring me my check it comes up too $187 and some change , mind you that includes the 20% AUTOMATIC Gratuity I could understand the 15% but 20% on a party of 4 is insane almost 30 dollars of tip . When I asked the hostess why do you guys put automatic tip she says all orders over 100 is automatically 20% gratuity that’s INSANE ! I can assure you I’ll never be coming again to this place .

I came here last month with my friend. It was my first time coming here. We started off with the complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were pretty good but I was disappointed by the salsa. It was just so bland. For a Mexican restaurant I definitely expected better. If I remember correctly, We both got the ixtapa tacos. It came with rice, beans and pico. The pico and tacos were pretty good. But, the rice tasted so bland, it was disappointing. I wish we asked for hot sauce. Aside from the food, service was great. The employees were very nice and helped us whenever we needed it. Overall I would come here again and try new dishes.

I recently visited New Haven & tried out this Mexican restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staffs. The restaurant itself had a vibrant and colorful décor, reflecting the rich culture and heritage of Mexico. The seating was comfortable, and the tables were adorned with traditional Mexican accents.
The menu at Ixtapa Mexican Grill offers a wide variety of authentic Mexican dishes. They offer free salsa and chips. The chips were perfectly crispy and served warm. It was a great way to begin the meal.
For the main course, we ordered tacos, chimichanga, enchiladas, fajita combo- chicken, steak & shrimp, fajita melted burger, and grilled steak quasedilla. The presentation of the foods was impeccable, the aroma was tantalizing, and the amount was too good! The dishes were accompanied by Mexican rice and a item made with beans, which were cooked to perfection.
I don’t have a Mexican tastebud but I must say their foods exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend giving Ixtapa Mexican Grill a try.

A nice Mexican restaurant, with good fajitas. Be warned that the food is not spicy at all (but I’m sure you can order a hot sauce!). A grilled cheese is a grilled cheese toast – my daughter liked it, but the fries were better in her view. She drank a bit of chocolate milk, too

OMG.. Let’s start with the warm welcoming, from the owner & servers! Top tier!!! I order fajita tacos (steak, & Chicken). They were absolutely delicious! Please bring your family & friends, it’s a good night out!

I was my first time there. When you enter your greated at the door by a friendly staff, promptly your seated and given some home made nachos with salsa and bean dip, they arrive warm and really crispy, the atmosphere is quite pleasant the staff is always on point asking weather you need anything and how is your service experience. I got into a small conversation with one of the waiters and mentioned i was there for my birthday only to be surprised by a big sombrero and a staff singing to me. I was in shock but very happy they served me a complimentary dessert as well as complimentary ceviche made of tilapia fish. I must warn you if you go here please go hungry because the portions are ridiculously huge. I didnt give 5 stars because i plan on visiting again then i will edit my review accordingly
