We stopped in on a lucky Thursday for us with the grandparents watching our kid. Bar was full but the building wasn’t packed so I feel like we got a good representation of how to place kind of normally operates. The vibe is amazing. There’s artwork for sale from local artist, the horror movie playing, all the movie posters and memorabilia. All of it’s just top-notch theming. You could easily spend an hour just looking at things at the wall and finding new things to find. You can tell a lot of love was put in on having this place have a very interesting aesthetic and a place for horror fans. My criticisms I have a feeling are just going to be growing pains. Food Is best described as snack food. We only got dessert for food and the churros were a little hard but they arrive pretty fast. There was also a apple empanada. I don’t see it on the menu but we had it at the table that was a bit soggy from the wet apples. That tasted fine, just a bit soft. Mixed drinks that are featured are very fun. Have some unique twist and I love the flourish on the drinks. Part of the downside is that there’s only about eight of them so far and the actual selection of alcohols behind a bar is kind of thin. However, for the mocktail crowd there are six to choose from immediately and they’re all good. Again small business bar very much understand. More will come as they grow. Overall, I’m really excited to have this place in the downtown Toledo area. Feel it could be a great third place for horror fans. I hope to see the cocktail menu grow and the kitchen get a bit more complex. Overall, it’s a start that has me very eager to see what this place looks like a year down the road.

This place is absolutely lovely for those into horror and oddities. We liked the atmosphere. The mocktail was a little too sweet for me but it was nice. The tater tots weren’t bad. The apple pie dessert wasn’t all bad but I think itd taste amazing with caramel drizzled on it and then dusted with powder sugar. Thats just me. Other than, staff was friendly and made sure my drink had absolutely no alcohol in it. Will be back soon in the future

Went on opening night! It was packed! I hope that the energy this place had lasts for years to come! What a cool concept for a bar and very wonderfully executed! I plan on making this place a regular haunt!!

I dig a theme. A horror theme? Hell yeah ,even better! Even a casual horror buff will absolutely love the decor. Nothing over the top gross,just a great trip down haunted memory lane with posters and memorabilia from classics to modern Era. The staff looks the part, and the music playing was appropriately heavy. Since this was opening night it was crowded so we passed on ordering food. Took a bit to get our drinks but the line was orderly and the staff was bustling. I ordered the Horsemans Old Fashioned and my girlfriend had an Executioner. Her drink looked and tasted great. Mine,left feeling like ehhh not a great job but it was opening night and they’ll work put the kinks. Over all I love it and will bring visitors with me when I come back.

If you’re looking for a place that’s equal parts delicious and delightfully creepy, The Pale Horse delivers. The food was fantastic — the chunks were lightly breaded, juicy, and perfectly cooked, and the seasoning on the tots was so good I could’ve eaten a whole basket myself.
My Old Fashioned was perfectly crafted, the beers were ice cold, and everything came out quickly. The staff is amazing — friendly, attentive, and they really add to the experience.
The atmosphere is frightfully fun and totally nails the horror theme without feeling gimmicky. And of course, our adopted granddaughter is the best!!!
We had such a great time and will definitely be back.

Really nice bar the horror theme is super cool. Good snack foods as well as pool table, beer pong and darts in the basement.
