I’ve had worse pizza but this was getting close. Their large is the size of a medium. Crust edges were good but the center was mush. The pizza was extremely salty. The overall taste besides the salt was ok but not great. For the price I would expect much better.

My husband and I had our 14 year anniversary dinner for the first time here tonight and we enjoyed every bit of it. The stuffed pizza was great. We were ecstatic that they actually had anchovies! Our waitress was attentive and sweet and the owner was so welcoming. We will be back!

Any local know this is the place to go to for authentic Italian dining. Their food has been top notch for YEARS! It’s always a hard decision whether to order an entre or a pizza so we usually end up doing both and get to take yummy leftovers home! Win win!!

A nice family type pizza place very easy to get to, parking is free and plentiful. The restaurant is pretty roomy with multiple dining areas inside. The restrooms are pretty little so if you are needing a wheelchair it might be difficult but the rest of the restaurant is very easy to navigate with a wheelchair, walker or cane.
The service was outstanding the food came out piping hot and just how we ordered it. The menu had quite a few choice some standard and some more unique. Pizzas were able to be ordered to each patrons liking.

I can’t believe I waited this long to write a review, I was just reminiscing about my trip to Clinton and had to give this spot the recognition it deserves!
Hands down, this is the best deep dish pizza I’ve had. I never expected to find a deep dish masterpiece in Iowa, but here we are. The staff made my first experience even better by recommending the perfect pie for a first-timer. Let me tell you, that pizza was so heavy and loaded with flavor, it became a three-day adventure. (I’m not ashamed to admit I savored every bite like a true champion!)
Huge shoutout to the team for their hospitality and top-tier pizza knowledge. This place is a hidden gem in Clinton, Iowa. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. Five stars, can’t wait to come back and conquer another deep dish!

Omg! This food is amazing! The cheese bread was the perfect amount of crispy and chewy with awesome flavors! The spaghetti deep dish was surprisingly great! The thin crust BLT would have been perfect if it was mayo and not miraclewhip. I’m sure they would have accommodated had we known ahead of time. Definitely a great place. Don’t forget the service, spectacular!

It was a fairly busy Friday night. Service was good! We went deep dish so expected to be a long wait. It wasn’t a bad wait even though they were busy.
It was worth it! The deep dish was great! Two pieces after cheese bread was plenty!
It’s a great place to easily accessible. A little noisy but not too bad. Simple no frills great food!

First time dining at Vitale’s. It was very cozy and the food was amazing. I’d never had spaghetti pizza before, but it was so good. We had the Chicken Alfredo carbonara spaghetti pizza. I’d give it a 10.
