The Real Taco in Bixby is hands down the best place in town to eat breakfast. If you’re looking for real, authentic Mexican breakfast done right, this is it. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care — you can taste the difference immediately.
The chilaquiles are next-level, and the salsas absolutely steal the show — bold, fresh, and full of flavor. The salsa bar is amazing!! Nothing feels rushed or generic here; it’s legit comfort food that hits every time.
Service is always friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like a true neighborhood gem. Great portions, fair prices, and consistently amazing food make this my go-to breakfast spot in the Tulsa area.

Tacos Mar y Tierra are beyond delicious, with their crispy flour tortillas, the meat and shrimp full of flavor, and perfect pickles onions. Burrito Classico was full of flavor and more than filling. All this accompanied with an amazing salsa bar that you don’t see just anywhere. Definitely worth the 35mns we drive to this place!

The main meals are a little bland, but if you add their homemade salsa onto whatever you get, you won’t regret it! Although I wish that their Street Tacos had come with more than just your selected meat on the tortillas, the Mexican Rice that comes on the side is very yummy, especially when thrown in with the beans and salsa into the tacos. The dishes are healthily portioned for the price and the service is wonderful 🙂 I recommend you give The Real Taco a try!

Excellent resturant for a great taste of Mexico. The birria is delicious and well marinated. The consome adds some amazing flavor to the tacos. Red tacos come with a nice bowl of consome for those looking for that authentic Jalisco flavor. Don’t forget there is a salsa bar so you can add onions, cilantro, onions & cilantro, radishes, as well as an assortment of salsas. The chips and salsa are excellent, but to take it up a notch, try the queso. The queso pastor is amazing. And on a hot day, grab an ice cold Mexican Coke in a bottle. The service is great and it’s a fun atmosphere for a family dinner or a quick bite. Definitely my new favorite in Bixby.

Super good! I had the birria tacos and they were right from the kitchen, I’m talking piping hot! The juice you dip your tacos in was super good! My wife had the Large Nacho and it was a heaping plate that we ended up taking home. All of the meat was well seasoned and very juicy! Top notch service as well! We’ll be back for sure.

My wife’s favorite new Mexican place! I should mention my wife is Mexican 😉 the service was great! The guy was fluent and bilingual, which is helpful! The food was awesome. Rarely do you go to a Mexican place and find EVERYTHING is good. Usually either the chicken, steak or pastor is lacking. But this was awesome! Plus their Aqua-Fresca beverage was the best we have had in Tulsa!
