Stopped here on a cross country road trip from New Jersey to California. Really friendly waitresses and they made sure my order was exactly right. I got the sunny side up well done with bacon and hash browns plus coffee. Great portions.

The historical photos on the wall were an interesting glimpse of the past with route 66.

Stopped in on a cross country motorcycle ride on July 4th 2025. Great meal, home cooked country fried steak with peach cobbler for dessert. Owner was kind enough to tell me about the restaurant and her family, kids were there. She and her mother in law posed for a picture in in front of the restaurant. Perfect down home feeling that is genuinely real. Thank You!

This place is as local as local can be. Couple of miles from the interstate, this bakery/restaurant is on Erick Main St, with lots of seating and cozy environment. The staffs were super friendly.

Now the food:
I took the mushroom and swiss burger, which was the best burger I ever had. It’s so juicy, tender, and flavorful.

Hope to come back here.

This is a classic diner with a basic diner menu. The daily special was a fried pork chop with mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, iced tea and included cobbler for dessert, for $12.99. Yes, a full meal cooked to order for that price. My wife ordered a BLT and fries. Nice looking sandwich and generous amount of fries. Very good stuff!

One of the best restaurants I have been to in years. Great daily special. Great service. Men’s bathroom out of service on the day we visited. Worth taking a detour off the interstate. We plan to go again when we travel through Erick.

If you’re stopped at the loves and looking at places to eat and think “well subways right here I don’t wanna drive down the road to that place”. It’s definitely worth the 2 minute drive. service is amazing, food is amazing, and atmosphere is amazing. I got the lunch special for around 12 dollars and it’s a great deal, it comes with whatever the main lunch special is, an option of sweet tea or lemonade, and comes with a salad and another side that might vary, and dessert. I highly recommend the peach cobbler for dessert.

Food was great. Glad it’s open again. Can actually eat the hash browns, don’t taste like cardboard. Gravy is real home style, not pasty and not overpowered by black pepper.
