We love coming here for a beer and to hang out. I’m not and oyster fan but I do like their other food. Service is always good too. Great local hangout.

Someone told me about this place so my daughter and I had to try it out. And we were not disappointed. This place was great! The oysters were big and delicious, not one small one in the bucket, and the fried mac n cheese bites were so good. The fish dip was by far the best I’ve tasted! We sat outside and there was a musician to keep us entertained! Our server was delightful! A 10 dining experience all the way around for a small town laid back delicious seafood fare!

First of all, any restaurant review from me will be mostly based on the quality of the food and the cost. So I will not average out my stars between food, service, and atmosphere. I will usually base my overall rating on whether or not I enjoyed my meal and if I will return. So don’t be deceived if you see 2 stars on the atmosphere. This place is literally a hole in the wall type of dive that if you were judging by appearance, you’d NEVER stop here voluntarily. It is in a very obscure area of Clermont and the building is sandwiched in between an electrical company and some other type of run down business like an old laundromat or something like that. I’ve been in Clermont three years and I’ve never once driven down this road so it was quite surprising to find a restaurant here. But I was quite happy after experiencing the oyster bar. It has a very good reputation with the locals but primarily because of the food quality. We had a party of seven. We ordered the crab legs which are pictured, the shrimp tacos, the fish tacos, some steamed oysters, the fish dip, fried mushrooms, and a couple of appetizer trios. I will start with the oysters. I am not an expert on oysters. In fact, this is really the first time I’ve eaten them the way that they are intended to be eaten. I will say that I like them. I am a bit picky when it comes to textures so I was certainly apprehensive about oysters. They are very fresh and based on what I know, they are very well prepared. The crab legs were as good as anywhere I’ve ever had them. They are only snow crab so they aren’t huge and most places that serve snow crab legs they are hit or miss with the amount of crab meat you get out of them. These are EXCELLENT. I don’t think I’ve had snow crab that was this easy to crack and eat. I loved them! Actually, everything we ordered was FANTASTIC. If you’re looking for good seafood, the oyster bar is as good as it gets in Clermont. I don’t know how you can get better. The building itself is a total dump. It appears to be pieced together throughout the years and even the restrooms are a trailer that was placed in the courtyard right off the dining area. I’m not sure I would even and use them. But at least they’re outside. It’s also not real clean. It’s so old that it’s probably hard to keep the place looking clean. But the food is so good that I personally can overlook the building. I’ll be back soon.

Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The lady serving us was extremely friendly and helpful since we have never eaten oysters like this before.
When you walk in the place just literally screams, Small Town friendly bar.
The only thing I would warn you about is that it is a little hard to spot the store since the sign is not large and the door is tucked back away from the rest of buildings.

Clermont Oysters is a hidden gem! We had an amazing time in this unique spot where oysters are freshly shucked right in front of you at the bar. The prices are market-driven, but trust me, you won’t find a deal like this anywhere else. The menu offers a great selection, from fish sandwiches to crab and fried chicken. Whenever I’m craving oysters, this is the place to go. The ‘buck a oyster’ deal is perfect for groups of friends. I haven’t been at night, but the live music in the back must make it an even more incredible experience. Don’t expect fancy frills – this is a chill spot to hang out with friends, away from the tourist traps. It’s the real deal, and you’ll feel like you’re getting a taste of authentic Louisiana. Highly recommend!

Awesome food and the very best fresh and fried oysters on the East Coast, hands down. If you love oysters, this is the place you want to go. I’ve been to oyster bars from Maine to Florida and this is the best I’ve had.

Stopped in for lunch. Inside is pretty small location, however the service and the food were great! I got steamed oysters and fish baskets! Both of which were delicious. I would definitely recommend this location to friends, family, and strangers alike and I will definitely be back!!!!

This place is a hidden gem in Clermont. We ordered a pound of shrimp, clam strips, and fried mushrooms. They came out hot and delicious! The service was a little overwhelmed because there was an awesome live band outside, which was very entertaining. The wait staff was still very friendly and accommodating. There is such a cool vibe here. If you are in the Clermont area, this is a great inside/outside bar/restaurant to visit. Will be here again!

We’ve been going here for 20+ years. One of the best dive finds in the Southeast. We’ve almost been afraid to tell everyone about it over the years because it gets more and more crowded. Oysters, chowder, spicy garlic shrimp, onion petals, are the best.
