If you order some tamales; make sure your order is accurate. We ordered 2 dozen red, 2 dozen green. We had 2 red and 1 green. They were very understanding in making things fair. The tamales are good. We almost didn’t have enough for our guests.

Went back after not eating here for a few years, gotta say it was one of the greasiest (greasy) steak burritos I’ve ever had. Not to mention, I ordered a smothered burritos and was given a hand held burrito in foil, dude said ya its smothered inside lol. Won’t be going back.

Ordered online three different burritos. If you like it spicy look at their spicy options then plan to pick one higher as the hot came off a bit hot and the extra hot had a bit more heat but nothing to get the mouth to burn much. The smother had a nice thick green chili. Then not smothered were good but I would have liked the burritos to have been maybe crisp up a bit maybe with a panini press or anything to add texture. The bean and meat one was good but one end had mostly bean and the other end had the meat and the two only blend in the middle. The breakfast was really good blend of everything.

I’ve been going to Mercedes for 10 years, they’re one of my top five favorites for Mexican food. They’re always friendly and even remember my usual order – Steak and cheese burrito no beans with hot chili.
The extra hot chili is good too, my stomach can’t handle it anymore though.
Id eat here any day over a gourmet restaurant.

This Mexican restaurant is THE best! The Huevos Rancheros ARE SOOOO good. I haven’t had a bad experience here yet with the food and I’ve been going there for 11 years. Always very clean. People are always friendly. My only CON is they are not open enough to my liking lol.

Went for a steak burrito and a green chili. Pretty easy order to not mess up. $12, so I gave them $15. What i got was a burrito with green chili inside… not a huge deal. Whatever. Not what I very clearly ordered, but I don’t normally complain. I got home and the burrito was just beans and a little green chili…. that is the worst waste of money and a poor excuse of a burrito for that much money.

The food here is delicious. Prices are reasonable, comparative to other restaurants. Staff is friendly. It’s very hot inside if you do dine in. Everything is served in to-go containers. I love this little place, been eating here for years!

Someone suggested I try this place because of their breakfast burritos, so I eventually made my way. Place is small if you blink you may pass it up. In between a car wash and u-haul rental store. Once inside you place your order and be seated. Burritos were $4.50 each with green chile inside. Dining area was small with not too many decorations. When I received the burritos they were huge and heavy. About the size of a 16 oz can of soda. Ordered eggs, potatoes and pork. Eggs were good, so were potatoes and so was the pork. They only complain was that the pork pieces were somewhat random. I’m eating and there’s a big chunk of shredded pork and dont see anymore for another 4 bites. Of the two I can only eat one because of the portion size. I will suggest to people to come visit. (Thanks Raul for the recommendation)
