Thai Green King
Trying to review all of the Cambridge pubs therefore entered this pub.
It’s a Thai menu, what a surprise for a Green King pub. Therefore the rivals are not other pubs at all.
As a pub with a Thai menu, it’s very different to Giggling Squid nearby.
The food was in generous portions. Everything tasted great and flavourful.
Maybe it is not as fancy as Giggling Squid physically. The toilet and restaurant was roomy and clean.
I always returnvagain and again. As I want to try other things in the menu. The food was so attractive, stylish and unique.
The food never let us down every time we come. Sorry I cannot give 6 stars rating because of the Google maps system. As it’s one of the best restaurants of the Cambridge town centre.
It’s another Green King pub that I would remember.

The food was well worth it, hence the 5 stars.
I had the Panang curry, very delicious.
The service and atmosphere could be better though; the entrance is somewhat obscured, maybe a signpost to direct people from the first door would provide better clarity. Especially with the pub being at the forefront of the building.
A way to air out the place would enhance the atmosphere too.
Overall, the experience was good and I reckon you could have a solo or couple dinner, or a small team meal at the venue.
There are few onstreet paid parking around; which would be free if you arrive outside working hours, but you have to be lucky to get a space.

The staffs were so nice and friendly and the food were so delicious as well. It came so fast no need to wait for a long time. Recommend for people who want to try the authentic thai food in Cambridge.

It looks like a pub, but it is not. It is a Thai restaurant. Nice place for Thai cuisine. We try different dishes and all were good. Beer is good, and the restaurant is ok decorated. An option if you like Thai.

Dined here in their garden out the back with three friends. Made to feel welcome and accommodated and the food was excellent quality. I felt the food was well priced but the singha pint at 6.75 was a bit steep! All in all, lovely food.

Gorgeous Thai food. We loved the Tom yum soup with prawns, super fresh & tasty. Enjoyed the flavour a lot 🙂 Also very nice staff here – thanks for their hospitality!

Set menu good value nice food. Tai iced milk tea lovely. Beer about £7.00 pint (i’m told this is the going rate, not been out in a while and I’m shocked ).

I’m my opinion this is the best Thai in Cambridge. I make a pretty decent Tom Yum at home (make my own nam prik pao from scratch), so I’m pretty judgy about this soup when ordering from restaurants as I’ve been disappointed from other Thai places. The Cricketers one is perfect – flavourful, spicy and hits exactly as it should. I’ve had a few other things from their menu and the food is always decent.
