Loved the food. Ordered Swedish Crepe, farmers scramble without the cheese, Chicken and waffles Benedict. All of them were very good. While eating, we noticed someone’s fried chicken and waffle…that looked really really good and will be what I’ll be ordering the next time.
Staff was friendly and ensured my coffee cup was always full

I’ve been coming here for several years and the food and service never disappoint. Augustin always has a welcoming demeanor and really gets to know his customers. Even after moving we still make the 40 minute drive to Livermore to have country waffles here and there.

I guess they’re under new management, it’s a bummer. The man working was apparently the only server and it seemed very short staffed for the demand. He declined any option to sub out toast, refused to make fresh coffee even though it was burned and had grounds and tasted awful. His excuses were the computer settings don’t allow for substitutions and that he just made it. That doesn’t make any sense. I try not to fuss but the food was meh, too.

We came to Country Waffles for their Valentine’s Day special dinner. They had a picture back drop for couples to take pictures which was so nice of them. The food tasted great and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be back!
