The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The interior is very clean, which I appreciated. One thing to note, though, is that this is more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to sit and catch up with friends. The seating area is limited, especially for groups larger than three, and while there are a few outdoor tables, they’re not abundant. Despite that, it’s still very convenient and perfect for a quick, satisfying meal. I’ll definitely be back!
The good? Food is tasty, authentic Taiwanese flavors. We ordered Taiwanese Beef noodle soup, XLB, BBQ fried rice, and curry rice. The curry to rice ratio could be better with more curry sauce. XLB is tasty but better elsewhere. Fried rice is fried rice, have had better elsewhere.
I’d go back only for the Taiwanese Beef noodle soup. If at all.
I was disappointed in my last visit with ordering #11 noodle soup with beef. Some of the meat was all fat and inedible. Usually you get good pieces of braised, tender beef, but this visit I got some pieces I would not eat. I added pictures of the inedible meat.
There is nice, friendly service that keeps me coming back. The pork sandwich is pretty tasty along with the dumplings.
There’s a few businesses in the shopping center, including Trader Joe’s; so you may need to circle around to find parking depending on when you visit.
The fried pork chop wasn’t crispy, it tasted like it got reheated instead of being made to order. Overall, the pork chop bento didn’t taste like it was made fresh. We couldn’t get 2 of the drinks we wanted so we settled for some fruit teas, one was way too sweet even with half syrup.
I think the menu is too big even the cashier was a bit confused, maybe that’s what affected the quality of each item. The food was presented like that from a to-go place but it didn’t taste fresh. And the chime on the door was obnoxiously loud.
Everything was delicious! The dumplings were prepared perfectly, the sauce that came with it paired perfectly. The boba here is fresh, soft and chewy , just as it should be. Plus, the man and woman working here were friendly and super helping in assisting in making my selections. Dumplings took about 10 minutes to prepare, but that’s expected since they were fresh!
I’ll definitely be back!
