Many locals claim Alley Cat Pizzeria is the best location in town to get some piping hot slices. The crust is hand-tossed and thin, and NY style. Most patrons get delivery or take-out, although there are a few places to sit at the restaurant itself.
For those with large appetites or large families, there is an extra large size to fulfill the cravings of all stomachs. Besides pizza, subs and calzones are offered and is a great place to get either lunch or dinner.
Cozy, laid-back pizza parlor popular for delivery & known for its supersized New York-style pies.

Most terrible looking pizza I’ve ever seen. Don’t get the $38.99 special.bc this is what ur pizza will look like. I cudv gotten a pizza from.BJ’s and got better quality. Absolute trash and only.one slice had cheese.on it as u can see by the picture. Almost.$20 a pie and cant put a decent amount of cheese to screw.over their customers. Go to dominos instead and get new york style and it’ll.cost way cheaper.

Very good Pizza! drove from Texas and read the reviews on Alley Cat and I was not dissappointed at all. Fresh and good food, nice cheese melt on both the subs and pizzas. Closest you can get to New York style pizza in Manchester out of all the places I’ve tried!

Great spot, walked in was greeted super friendly people very reasonable prices had two slices of pizza and a drink for about 12 bucks also got garlic knots. Really really good flavor very quick on the way out and again thanked us for stopping by. Highly recommend this the type of place you wanted to stop by.

I’ve passed by the super charming neon sign for this restaurant for a few weeks now. So when I walked by and smelled the pizza from the street as I was walking downtown, I was very excited to try it. I was underwhelmed. The only slices they have are a build your own, and they only do bottled drinks. The pizza was mid-tier, nothing to rave about. The waffle fries were good, but I felt like $5.75 for a smallish side of Cajun waffle fries was a little much. It’s $1 for ranch. I’m not sure a staff member smiled at me the whole time I was there.

No real atmosphere, two tables by the big window. They are apparently not known as a sit down pizza joint. I could not help but notice all the awards on the wall for best pizza in Manchester, I also noticed they one best pizza in the New Hampshire, they make NY Style of pizza. I have eaten a lot of pizza in my day in many different towns around the United States. All i can say is I that my perception of the pizza was under whelming. The crust tried to have a taste but really I perceived no taste. The sauce in my perception tasted like sauce from a tin can, did not see any cans but there was ZERO taste to the sauce: the toppings in my opinion were skimpy and they went heavy on the cheap filler like onion. All in all I think you would be better off purchasing a good frozen pizza putting some additional toppings on it and cheese and you would be saving yourself some time and money and get a pizza with a little more taste. However to each their own, like sex, there is no bad pizza

This was my first time trying this pizza spot, I ordered with no real expectations, heard it’s a real hit with the manchester crowd, however I’m sad to say it was a bit… lacking. I ordered extra cheese on both pizza’s and there was barely any. Ordered bbq chicken, mushrooms and bacon and it was the tiniest bit of both on each. I’m glad I ordered the lowest setting of crispiness because anymore and it would have been charcoal. The bottom was burnt in patches and just wasn’t worth it. I’ll give this place 3 stars but don’t see myself returning.

Loved Alley Cat pizza way back in the 90s and it’s still a family favorite. Getting a classic NY slice in person and watching them make pies is a tradition for me. The customer service also is above and beyond what I would normally expect.

Ordered via Grubhub.com, driver arrived with a totally burnt calzone and a raw on the top, burnt on the bottom cheese pizza (which my husband ate due to starving), missing was our salad and 2 liter soda. The restaurant sent the driver to deliver the missing salad and soda, and to pick up and return the burnt calzone before they would replace it. The pictures say it all, why would you ever close a box and allow it to leave your business in that low quality state?

Authentic NY Style pizza. Tastes as good as the pizza I had growing up in Northern NJ.
Updated Sept 2024: Recently we had Alley Cat pizzas at a local event in town (Manchester). The cheese and pepperoni pizzas were very good and the quality seemed as good as it has been in the past.
Update Sept 2025: in the past two months I’ve ordered from Alley cat a couple of times and the pizza is still great. It really does remind me of the pies that I had when I lived in NJ and NY. When I’m craving a thin crust, NY style pizza, Alley Cat fits the bill!
Updated Jan 2026: I ordered an XL pizza (half sausage and half mushroom and onions) and it was excellent. The thin crust that was perfectly cooked with a browned but not burnt bottom. The sausage was spicy and the mushrooms and onions were fresh. Great job, Alley Cat!
