Waitress Heather was Awesome and the Head Chef Tiptan was awesome. Came out talked with us and even made a one off hot sauce for our table. Got the large share tray and was plenty for 4 folks and had to try the pizza. It was awesome as well. Will be back many more times to come.

We came here due to it being close to our hotel and people referring us here. We were looking for authentic Carolina bbq. Carolina gold is what dressing we wanted for wings, we were told by the server that yellow belly and red bbq plain dressing were the least picked . We still enjoyed the yellow belly best. Pizza was pretty good. I myself ordered fish and chips, it was nothing amazing but good. Our server was super extra peppy and fake in my opinion. We ordered desert to go for us adults later and she proceeded to tell the kids about it and how it was for a treat when we got home. When in reality it wasn’t for them and we made that clear. Also when we originally ordered wings , side salad, my fish and chips she kept referring to the wings as my husbands meal when he wanted to order fish sandwhich but due to her referring to that he felt uncomfortable. It was an okay place but I definitely won’t be spreading the word about it or be back.

I am visiting Myrtle Beach for a conference at the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort. This restaurant was recommended from my VP of Finance of my job. I had the bacon shrimp skewers and French fries. The food was good. I decided to come back again the next day. And had the most amazing service experience and decided to try something different this time. Food was so good. No complaints!
Now this time, Valentine’s Day, we had Joshua as a waiter! He is 5 star! The best of the best! His attitude, professionalism, his voice was so calm and presentable, he checked on us, he gave us advice on a selection, he apologized for the cooks adding bread crumbs to my Mac and Cheese. But I moved it to the side but then realized it was actually good with the bread crumbs. The food is amazing here. The ribs are to died for.
Well, Josh was patient because I am a picky eater. I think this company have a great employee and I hope and pray he is valued and compensated well. Joshua, If you see this… I want to tell you THANK YOU for your service! YOU ARE AWESOME! You made my day!

I had a wonderful experience at Black Drum! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The customer service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I would definitely recommend Black Drum to anyone looking for good food and great service

I decided to eat at this restaurant because it’s located on the property I stayed at and the menu looked appetizing. I arrived and the restaurant looked inviting. I was asked booth or table. I opted for a booth…mistake number one. The booth is like a couch and when I sat down I almost sat on the floor. It was so low. I then moved to a chair in my booth and I could see into the kitchen. Pretty cool so I thought. I could hear kitchen staff, cursing I watched table runners with gloves on touching their hair and playing with their phone. My server put the entire meal in at the same time so halfway through my appetizer, my dinner came. Which meant it got slightly cold. The shrimp and pork belly skewers were absolutely amazing. Once I finished. I tried the macaroni and cheese. It was like eating baby food. I have never had mushy macaroni and cheese. Next, I tried the cucumber salad. Absolutely refreshing and delicious. Then I tried the brisket. At the time I tried it. My server came and asked me how everything was. It took me a minute to answer her because the brisket was thick and dry. I would not recommend the brisket.

That was a Friday night. Fast-forward to today, September 27. They were having an event from 4 PM until 8 PM. Live music Oktoberfest themed. I’m not a beer drinker that did not interest me, but I still needed dinner. I went over to the restaurant Just after 7 PM. Asked if I could place an order so that I could sit out by the fire pit. I was informed I could not do that. I could, however, spend $20 for a ticket to this event which included souvenir glasses, a drink and a pretzel wait until 8 PM for the restaurant to open back up to spend more money on the food I actually wanted. The embassy suites absolutely beautiful. I will be back here again. I will not be eating at this restaurant.

We seen many reviews of this restaurant and decided to try Black Drum Brewing on that basis. Huge let down.
Food lacked basic seasoning and flavor. Salt pepper and garlic would have done wonders.
Service was mediocre at best. Appetizers arrived shortly before food. Sign the restaurant is not gauging by guests but on a time line.
Atmosphere was stressed, with a seemingly unfriendly manager trolling the dining floor with a scour on his face. We saw our waitress for orders, drinks, and the check.
Single drink per guest and a bottle of water for the table at what be believed to be a brewery in the name “Brewing”. It is not.
Presentation of food was good. But, again, flavor was Lacking.

Enjoyed an evening out on the patio with live music! Tyler was a great server and kept us happy the entire time. Make sure you get reservations since they will fill up fast especially for larger parties. The food was delicious and the drinks were good too! Highly recommend and will go back next time were in town.

Such a great atmosphere and food! I do think some could of had better spices and flavor but overall very good!! We honestly went back a second time! The Apple Cider Margarita is delicious and we got the Peanut Butter Cake dessert and it was the best thing on the menu. 10/10. If we ever come into town again, we will be back!

Here on business trip solo. Needed an early dinner after travel and checking in next door at Embassy Suites.

Host was friendly and able to get me to a seat almost immediately. Menu had a nice selection of food choices. I went with the ‘Certified Clucker Sandwhich’. It came with the spice-battered fries and pickles on the side. I went with an additional Green Beans side.

Food came out quick. Waitress was attentive. The food portion was large (I couldn’t finish) and was excellent tasting.

I got the fried chicken sandwich, and my wife got the pulled pork bbq plate.

Everything was great. Sandwich and pork were delicious, the hush puppies were great. Cucumber salad could have used a little more salt & pepper, but you can season it yourself to your taste.

I’m sure it gets very loud & busy later in the day, but we were just about the only people there when we went right when it opened.

If you are a Hilton gold or diamond, and staying at the condos, rather than the hotel (where they give you complimentary breakfast), you can use your daily dining credit here. Prices aren’t the cheapest, but it’s a great use of your credit.

Service was VERY slow. Our waiter was friendly and apologetic, but I have no idea why it would take nearly half an hour to get our food out when like I said, there was almost no one else there.
