First when I walked in I was in a good mood. A man i held the door open for me told me “good luck.” Having no idea what he meant i continued in. There was 1 person in line before me. And a group of people waiting for online orders.
I had 1 online order I placed over 24 hours early to be done at 6pm.
I needed a second sandwich for my parents.
I stood in line behind the man in front of me for 20 minutes. Not a single employee even acknowledged either of us. He asked me if he should just leave. I said I have an online order I cant.
After waiting 20 minutes with not a single employee knowledge a single person who was standing in line or in person. A very rude employee comes over and rudely tells us they were out of bread and it would be 35 more minutes. On top of the 20 I stood without being acknowledged? 55 minutes for a sub?
I explained to him that I had an online order that was done at 6pm and told him by the time I placed a second order my first order, that was supposed to be done 20 minutes earlier, would be cold. So I just asked if he could give me my online order and forget the other order I was going to place.
His reply was, “We will get to you when we get to you.” I told him you dont talk to customers that way. He started yelling at me. He walked away and complained to his managing I was cussing him out. That is not by any means cussing anyone out.
This employee couldnt get anything right and was snapping at other employees prior to coming over to tell customers he was out of bread.
He should have never been allowed to interact with customers.
I asked the manager for my online order that should have been done 20 minutes earlier.
The manger asked me to bear with her because she ran out of bread I placed my order over 24 hours earlier. How do you run out of bread? They made me and everyone else wait 20 minutes before even mentioning they were out of bread. Thats not planning. An order placed 24 hours in advance should have been pulled way before 6:20 pm for a 6 pm order.
I left without my online order. I will never go back.
Several other customers were just leaving.

We had a cowboy. A blt and a tuna. All were fresh and delicious. We talked with all the workers as well as the manager. There was an issue with one sandwich that was a misunderstanding of the type of sandwich. The manager jumped in and made a fresh sandwich and was very pleasant and professional as well as all the staff. This is an excellent place to go for fresh delicious sandwiches

Disgusting management and all the way down to the employees. I watched an employee bully their coworker and nobody blinked an eye. Dry sandwiches and they need to clean bathrooms with disgusting miserable attitudes. I hope you get every bit of Karma you deserve. Do not come here and spend your money. Trash.

There are many submarine and sandwich shops all over the place. DiBella’s does not disappoint. The fresh baked bread is fantastic. Nice that they make their own. The meats are of a high quality and fresh as well. Don’t forget to have Grandma’s Cookies to round out the meal. Everyone should check it out. You can just go for yourself!

My brother loves DiBella’s. Well, he admits – it didn’t work out here at this location in Mentor. The subs were dry, bread not fresh, and service a little slow. My mother ordered the cheese steak – couldn’t find the cheese. The employees explained that for a 5in, it only gets 1/2 small slice of cheese. He was kind enough to provide another 1/2 small slice of cheese on the side. For the other two subs – small portions also on bread not so fresh. I think there is a disconnect between Rochester, NY and Mentor, OH for DiBella’s franchise expansion.

An hour before they close, not hardly a light on. Sign isn’t lit, the parking lot lights are off. I luckily ordered online or I wouldn’t have come in here. It looks like a ghost town and like they do not want customers.

Service could definitely be better but the food was really good . Appreciate how much they load the cheesesteaks. Didn’t forget anything either.

I love dibella’s. I never knew it was a chain. There was one by the house I lived at years ago in Pittsburgh, and I thought that was the only one. I was very very glad to find it and my sub was delicious and the service was excellent
