Okra was great!! Rolls were fresh. Hamburger steak not bad.. but there wasn’t too much we can say was really good.. service and friendliness of staff was great! We had Tasha and she was wonderful!!

Eli was amazing! She always had our glasses refilled and was so kind! We will definitely be back soon! Food was also phenomenal as always! ☺️ The salad bar, steak, and deserts were top notch!! I have severe allergies and after watching someone cross contaminate something on the salad bar, they were quick to get me all new stuff!! I was so very thankful! No reaction and it tasted FABULOUS!! (Oh yeah… they have a new icee machine and little cups and you can make some cool desserts!! Have fun!!!!!)

Rose the manager called the police on me and told them that I had been filling up boxes of food and throwing it away! However, I have not! I took off one piece of steak, I told the person that gave it to me was too thick. She said it’s not thick! I paid for the rest of my food! Black people be careful they’ll call the police over you over there for nothing! The police showed up and acted a fool too!

I had a wonderful waitress and they kept the food well stocked. I feel the quality ofcthe food isn’t what it was before. The meatloaf and fried chicken were good. I thought the chicken used to have more flavor. The cleaning staff was on top of their game and did an excellent job of clearing tables and keeping the place looking good.
My two favorite items were the meatloaf and the fried chicken.
I thought the price was good for what I received.

When my sister & brother-in-law are in town, there are certain places we always go eat at. This is one of them. They say this location in NLR is far better than any of the ones in Dallas. My Mom loves going here. The prices are great for an all you can eat American style food buffet.

An Exceptional Veterans Day Experience & Service Above and Beyond!
We visited Golden Corral today on Veterans Day, and I first want to give the entire restaurant a huge shout-out for the amazing and generous tradition of providing free meals to our veterans. That act of respect and gratitude is truly awesome, and it makes me proud to support this business.
The service we received was absolutely outstanding. Our waitress, **Amanda**, provided service that was genuinely **above and beyond**. She was incredibly attentive, quick to refill drinks, and consistently checked in with a warm, cheerful demeanor. Despite being exhausted from the non stop rush of the day.
Beyond Amanda’s excellent work, the whole team had a really good attitude. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and positive, making the entire dining experience wonderful.
Thank you, Amanda, for your exceptional service, and thank you, Golden Corral, for honoring our veterans. Five stars! We highly recommend this location!

I have been here several times before and always enjoyed it, which is why this was such a letdown.
While they were switching from breakfast to lunch, a manager was helping at the grill. The woman working there made a small mistake and the manager snapped “don’t overfill it like that, damn” while throwing her hands up. The employee immediately backed away and went into the back. It was uncomfortable and honestly hard to watch. The manager continued to rant about the employee knowing better and why did she do that?
At first I thought maybe they were friends just messing around, so I asked a couple of the table servers. They told me this normal for her. The woman is the GM and that she is the “worst manager.”
I have not heard anyone talked to like that since basic training. Hearing her yell at someone else again right after was the last straw, so I left.
I will not be back unless that behavior stops and that manager is gone. I filled out the survey and never heard a word back. I think this needs to be addressed higher up.
The wait staff and food prep are AMAZING and deserve so much better than that manager so I’m giving stars for them, but the manager gets 0 stars. I hope this is addressed.
