Great music to create a great Italian restaurant ambiance. Great food and reasonably priced. I always forget to take a picture of the food because I can’t wait to eat. We usually order a little extra to take home for leftovers. We even had our wedding catered from their catering company Tymark. I’m able to go back to Vetranos and get everything I had at our wedding and reminisce about the day. I’m from NJ so I only like specific places and Vetranos was the first place that I valued as real pizza for the westerly/Charlestown area. The bar area is really nice and cozy. It has that local feel to it. And bonus points because I’ve never had a problem parking here!

Great place with great staff. This gem of a restaurant in Westerly is one of our favorite places to eat. The food never disappoints and the atmosphere is relaxing. Our waiter, Tommy, was awesome. He was super friendly and efficient. The portions were so generous that we took home part of our meal. This is a wonderful local restaurant with excellent food and service.

Came here the day after a big snowstorm and they were still open. Amazing service, grapefruit martini was great, calamari, bolognese, and meatball grinder all incredible. I get takeout pizza a lot, my favorite is grandmas style but this time I dined it and it was awesome.

The staff was very welcoming, Hanna, was my waitress very attentive. The garlic knots with fresh garlic & olive oil were Amazing. They were flat, warm & delicious – to die for!! Side salad was portioned perfectly. Ordered the chicken Parm perfectly thin & the taste was perfect. The sauce was tasty. Portions were perfect. If you are in Westerly, RI.. stop here it’s worth it!!

Lived in the area for a while and this was my first time at Vetrano’s and I wished I had visited sooner. It was a business dinner and found the atmosphere perfect for conversation without having to talk over each other. Our server was delightful and attentive. I had the chicken soprano while my associate had the chicken parmesan and we were both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Looking forward to trying more on this menu and I’ve heard great things about their pizza.

I had been a long time customer. Sunday I ordered my usual, a large and medium pepperoni and mushroom. WOW!! Was I disappointed!!! A very small amount of pepperoni with a few mushrooms thrown on. A minimum amount of cheese applied. This was expensive but I never minded before because of the high quality. I heard they had changed but I had no idea they went this far down the toilet! They have lost a very long time customer and everyone I tell!!!

We are new to the area and keep coming back to this restaurant. It is very good. We’ve had the pasta and pizza all good. Also the salads and clam chowder are the best. Very tasty and always very hot. The service is the friendliest.

In our search for great pizza in the Westerly RI area, several locals recommended for us to try Vetrano’s Restaurant. We finally got around to it and found the staff to be super-friendly (hi Leslie!). We were surprised to see that they sold pizza by the slice. We ordered the “Special Combo” pizza which comes topped with 10 different traditional toppings (6 varieties of meats plus veggies, mushroom and olives). The crust was cooked perfectly and had a nice crust and texture that reminded me of freshly baked italian bread. The toppings were plentiful, fresh, well balanced flavor and delicious.
We’re so glad we tried Vetrano’s and will be back for sure for more pizza and to try out their other lunch and dinner entrees.

My love affair started with the bread,not just ordinary bread. The bread was cooked and seasoned to perfection.it was served with olive oil that had plenty of shaved roasted garlic in it…delicious
.our fried calamari was cooked to perfection,tender,soft and delectable. The marinara sauce was out of this world.
Dinner was served with a house salad. Tmy grandaughter ordered the shrimp Rivera over angel hair pasta with spinach.it was cooked all frenchessa. It was delicious.plenty to bring home.
I ordered zuppa de pesci over linguine. It was amazing. Came with scallops,scungelli ,calamari,clams,mussels and shrimp,and plenty of garlic.i loved it.i would say my only negative would be I didnt find any scungelli,just 2 scallops,shrimp and 3 clams.
I highly recommend this establishment.i would definitely go here again to try their other creations.
One last the the wait staff was outstanding. Our drinks were refilled without having to ask. She seen to all our request immediately.
