Delicious food, friendly service, ample seating. Got an order of pupusas de chicharron served piping hot and full of flavor. Came with a baggie of red salsa and excellent curtido (the slaw that pairs great with this Salvadoran entree). For vegetarians and vegans, you order these fried corn “cakes” stuffed with only refried beans, or beans and cheese. An ice chest contains a variety of canned soda, tea, and small bottles of gatorade. They accept card as well as cash. I’m a Spanish speaker, but noticed customers ordering in English, so it should be fine if you don’t speak it. I’m adding pics of the menu and phone number if you want to call and order ahead for pick-up (prices as of June 2025).

There is a fantastic covered area for dining there. Five family picnic tables, a large flat screen TV playing music videos, and plenty of oscillating fans to keep everyone cool. Next to the covered area is an open air section with a few plastic tables and chairs, and even two cornhole game boards complete with handheld bean bags to play with the kids while you wait for your food. On the opposite side of the parking area is a port-a-potty for restroom needs, you just need to ask at the order window for a key to it.

There was a problem with the grill when I ordered, but one of the owners offered to let me grab a free drink for having to wait after he fixed the issue. I appreciated the effort and grabbed a Gatorade.

I can’t remember the last time I’ve had pupusas this good, and I’ve had them at plenty of trucks and restaurants across Baton Rouge. Don’t bother with fast food today, spend a few more bucks and treat yourself to a homecooked style meal at this spot. Authentic Salvadoran, Honduran and Mexican food that will leave you full and happy.
