Let’s start off with saying that it is not you typical dine in restaurant as it does not have many tables but if you decide to dine in you’ll have a place to sit and enjoy you meal. The food is very tasty and comes out fresh and that comes with a little wait but the food makes up for it 100%. We ordered several things on the menu and were happy with all of them. The momos are amazing, the mixed grill meats juicy and flavorful and naan is hot and crispy. Overall 5stars for food. The owner, chef waiter is super friendly and makes good recommendations. Will definitely be back even though it not that close to home.

Oh my goodness, what a hidden gem! The Shrimp and Chicken Tikki Masala is beyond delicious! The Lasuni Gobi was amazing as well! One item was missing from our order and the chef was kind enough to prepare an extra noodle item for us to make up for it which was unexpected! The noodles were as you can guess phenomenal as well. This will now be our new go to. I highly recommend them!
Bhanu was so nice and friendly!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience!
Please support this family business, the wife is cooking delicious meals, and the husband is the host, and server, their 13 month old is right with them, as they are truly a family business!
Taste of Everest isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a truly exceptional dining experience that instantly earns a full 5-star review. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth that set a perfect tone for the entire evening. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, but the heart of the restaurant lies in its hospitality. The owner is incredibly kind and attentive, circulating among the tables and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and cared for, almost like part of the family.
The food itself is nothing short of sensational. The extensive menu offers a wonderful, deep journey through authentic Nepalese and Indian specialties, meaning there’s something delicious to discover on every visit. We were absolutely blown away by the quality. The ingredients taste incredibly fresh, which really allows the complex, vibrant flavors to shine through. From the perfectly spiced chicken Momos to the rich, aromatic curries, every dish demonstrated expert craftsmanship and authentic taste that leaves you craving your next visit.
If you are looking for spectacular, flavorful, and authentic food served in a truly welcoming environment, look no further. Taste of Nepal is, without a doubt, a must-visit. We highly recommend making a reservation—we will surely be back soon to try more of their outstanding offerings!

We stopped here on our way from Philadelphia to Maine when we needed something filling and delicious. We found that! The Nepali momo and lentil dish had unique flavor and vegetables, and was clearly prepared thoughtfully. We loved talking with our waiter who was very polite. We hope to make the trip again on our future trips!

Excellent excellent food! The chicken Momos were incredible, butter chicken and vegetable vindaloo were delicious, and the garlic and goat cheese naan was wonderful. Bhanu was incredibly friendly and made sure my fiancée and I had an excellent meal. (Our pictures were taken during or after the meal — there was much more before we dug in!) We will be coming back here in the future!

Very good authentic Nepali food in Fairfield. Nothing else like it around Fairfield county. The food is made to order and takes some time but certainly worth it. Try the chicken momas and chowmein noodles. If you ask for anything spicy it will definitely be spicy so make sure you can handle the heat. Bhanu is very friendly and personable.

This Indian restaurant is the best place we’ve been to! The flavor of chicken bum biryani and chicken tikki masala were so good! The dishes were full of flavor. It almost felt like the firework explosion in the ratatouille movie when he at the two ingredients together but Indian restaurant version. This place has the most amazing herbs, flavors, and dishes. This cute restaurant seems like a small family business. The owner is very friendly and makes good conversation. Again, food is very delicious. My husband and I came out of town visiting family and were so glad we came to visit this restaurant. Highly recommend anyone who’s interested in Indian food or anything Asian or anything rice and saucy and savory. Also the naan bread was excellent especially dipping in the tikki masala!

Amazing food and great experience!
I ordered the Veg Chowmein and Veg Momo from Taste of Everest, and both were absolutely delicious! The chowmein was perfectly cooked — flavorful, fresh, and full of veggies. The momos were soft, juicy, and packed with taste, just the way they should be. Everything felt authentic and made with care. Definitely one of the best Nepali spots around — can’t wait to order again!

Probably the best momo I have had in the US. Was driving to NH from NJ and stopped to get some nepali food on the way. I ordered steam Nepali Momo. It was really great. The chutney was the chef’s kiss. Highly recommended.
