Haven’t been there in over 4 years because our last time wasnt very welcoming, but decided to come back and try it again. GOOD CHOICE TO COME BACK. The new staff was friendly polite smiling just a total different atmosphere walking in the door. The food was good and fast, didn’t have to wait very long. There is indoor seating not alot but enough to grab a quick bite. The shop is easily found but parking can be difficult to do at times. Overall im happy with the food and the staff we encountered and would go back again.

While visiting the Pittsburgh, PA area, I went to Mineos Pizza House for the first time in 20 plus years. I used to eat this pizza with my grandmother while she was working at a dry cleaners in Mt. Lebanon. The person I remember who I referred to as Mineo wasn’t there but the pizza was the same as I remember it. While we were there, there was a steady flow of customers stopping in for pizza. I had a scisilian slice of pepperoni and a thin slice with tomato. My dad ordered half of a meatball sandwich and it was more than he could finish. The sandwich was delicious and very filling. Give it a try if you are in the area.

Fresh, crisp crust. Seasoned vine ripened sauce. Buttery nutty cheese. Overall a great pie. This is a must try, I prefer it over Fiori’s. **CASH ONLY**

I’ve heard about this pizza for 20+ years. I liked the crunch of the crust on the thin white slice and the Sicilian was good as well. As a pizzaholic, for that money spent, I would go elsewhere.

I didn’t like the first plain/traditional slice I had since they were taken from the traditional pie which just came out of the oven. They were both floppy (cheese fell off). After some time, when I asked for pepperoni and cheese slices, they were both really good. I believe when they reheated the slices, they were no longer floppy and cheese remained on the slices. Their sauce is a little sweeter so I had to compensate that with pepper flakes but overall slices were fresh and good. Service was very friendly. Cash only.

Picked up a buffalo chicken pizza and a bacon and pepperoni pizza. The bacon pep was great, but the buffalo chicken was a little subpar. Their a little pricey as well. The other pizza was great.

I can see why this place is popular. The staff is very friendly, it has a long history and is a Pittsburgh staple, and the pizzas are loaded with cheese — it is by no means bad. However, I found the pizza to be slightly below average and overpriced in comparison to the going rate for Pittsburgh pizza (2 large one topping pizzas and a sandwich was over $60). The cheese itself tasted a bit bland and didn’t have that slightly aged hint found in the best Pittsburgh pizzeria cheese blends. For my taste, the cheese was a bit too abundant, though many folks may prefer this. The toppings were not bad but also nothing special in my opinion — pepperonis were standard thin and flat circles without much flavor/spices (likely purchased in bulk), not the smaller thicker slices with curled tips that you always hope for on a pizza. This place is definitely worth trying as many may fall in love with the pizza if you don’t care much about flavor profiles and just want a thick cheesy pizza. Just make sure to bring cash to pay and to have someone to drive with to pick up the pizza if you do takeout since parking is not good during busy times.

Best Pizza in Mt. Lebanon, period. The meatball hoagies are amazing too!
The fact that they are reasonably priced is just icing on the cake!
