Very delicious breakfast, ordered the eggs benny and french toast. the eggs benny was delicious, velvety buttery goodness. the french toast was very unique and strange, at least for me. versus a traditional french toast, they coat their french toast in a cinnamon-y cereal coating that gives every bite a delightful crunch, with warm soft inside. It was fantastic, would recommend.
Staff was very friendly, restaurant was clean. solid local breakfast joint.

What an absolute gem this restaurant is! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, I was mesmerized by the mural outside plus the wall of hot sauce upon entry!
I ordered the salmon topped with capers in a zesty lemon sauce, served alongside asparagus and crispy French fries. The draft root beer was refreshing, and the perfect after a day on the river. The fish was incredibly flaky, melting in the mouth with every bite. The service was outstanding—our server was incredibly friendly. If you’re looking for a spot that’s equal parts delicious and fun, Carnation Cafe is well worth the visit.

Had a chance to stop by the Carnation cafe for some Sunday brunch after checking out Snoqualamie Falls. We really loved the vibe of the place. They had live music, tasty Mimosas and a dynamic menu. We enjoyed the Stuffed French Toast and a side of Ham, and of course a mimosa!

Great local cafe serving a large variety of dishes all with a homestyle quality of cooking. Good service and plenty of seating. Nice bar area with a television and both tables and stools. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxed meal in a quality establishment.

Nice spot with a good menu with a lot of choices. I had the chicken fried steak and it was delicious and my girlfriend got the eggs Benedict and she said it was really good! I highly recommend stopping here to get breakfast/lunch. You won’t be disappointed.

I had business in Carnation so I went early to grab some breakfast. Carnation Cafe had good reviews and nice photos so I thought I’d give in a try. As I pulled in I was a little bit surprised by the general appearance of the building. It seems to need a refresh. After parking I made my way to the door which was surprisingly dirty for 30mins after opening. This is normally a red flag for me and I go elsewhere but I had no time to spare. Interior is also a little tired although I was momentarily distracted by the pastry case which looks very promising. They were not yet busy so there was no wait. I was sat at a step up booth with taped up seats. I enjoy step ups for an elevated view of the dining area. I was greeted in timely fashion by a pleasant server who offered coffee/drinks. Coffee and water came out quickly but needed to have the water replaced due to several lip marks on the rim of my glass. Coffee was good and maybe slightly better than most cafes. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and substituted a pancake for the biscuit without issue. My order came out quickly but was terribly prepared, especially considering there were only 4 other groups all with their meal in front of them. The gravy was broken and not very pleasing to the eye. My over-easy eggs were over-medium on the way to over-hard. The chicken fried steak was over cooked with a slight bit of gristle and the potatoes were mushy. My pancake was over cooked and dense, impenetrable by butter or syrup.
This is my only visit to Carnation Cafe and every restaurant has a bad day. Overall with the quality of the food and the run down atmosphere I think it was slightly overpriced. They did get busy and from the reviews it seems to be a well loved cafe. I would give it another opportunity but will not be driving out of the way to get there.

Genuinely lovely place with a heart and with gorgeous murals painted by a local artist. Kids eat free on Tuesdays! We happened to be camping nearby the previous night and learned about it as we walked in the door. Rosa, our server, was awesome. Everyone including the other staff, the delivery folks who brought in fresh produce, and the customers, were all just lovely!
The kids enjoyed the chocolate and blueberry pancakes but they thought the French toast were the best they’ve ever had! The adults enjoyed omelettes and scrambled eggs done to perfection. One adult (moi) was particularly enamoured by their collection of hot sauces that everyone’s invited to try!
It was pouring rain, on our way out, so while we waited, we decorated the floors with the colourful chalk that everyone’s welcome to 🙂

This place has amazing people and food at this place this is a cafe to see for yourself. The food and the hospitality is Worth the drive from all over. I just had the black and blue salad without the blue It had an amazing flavor. I don’t like balsamic most of the time, some places have it done just right and this one with this salad was great and tasty. Also had the fried chicken special and it was good. The coconut shrimp and the curry dip are different and yummy. You have to have the strawberry cheesecake that is amazing and you have to taste it.
