Lovely restaurant with beautiful decor and overall welcoming peaceful atmosphere. Extremely friendly and kind staff, food presentation is very detailed and authentic. Last but not least – every dish we have tried here has been flavourful, fresh, delicious and the portion size is more than generous. Highly recommend! Oh they also have a room for private events and a patio.

Yesterday night we ordered gol gappe and a paneer parantha. “I was so excited to eat gol gappe after a long time, but these ones were a letdown. it was really disappointing. The puris were not fresh and turned soggy very quickly. The water had no proper flavor—just salty and bland. I’ve had much better gol gappe elsewhere, so I wouldn’t recommend this place.”

On top of that, they even tried to scam my friend on the bill. The menu clearly showed paneer parantha for $5, but when the bill came they charged $8. Luckily, my friend noticed it on time and questioned them. This is totally unprofessional and dishonest. Not going back here again.”

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rasoi on 50th, and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The restaurant is beautifully renovated, offering a modern yet warm ambiance that makes you feel right at home.

What truly made our visit special were the employees, Rajan and Preet. They were incredibly polite, respectful, and attentive throughout our meal, which added to the overall positive experience. Their excellent service definitely stood out, and I would love to visit again.

Though I couldn’t take pictures of the second hall due to a private party booking, I’ve heard it’s equally charming. The restaurant is a perfect spot to enjoy authentic Punjabi cuisine, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

Worst experience ever!!!!! I ordered chicken pkoda last night, it was thick layer of batter on top and inside was the grilled chicken (probably the left over from buffet). Poor taste and such low quality!!

Just had a meal at Rasoi on 50th and the staff were amazing! So friendly and made me feel super welcome. They really made the whole experience great.

The food was awesome too – the samosas were crispy, and the mango lassi was so good.

The worst Indian food I’ve had in a long time. Maybe ever?

I honestly don’t know how to describe it. It’s like someone who never cooked anything before decided to try their hand at a recipe book. All the elements were there, but prepared in the worst possible way.

The chili chicken was swimming in a soup. There was more sauce in it than in our butter chicken.

The naan was encrusted with WAY too much garlic. Like they dumped an entire cloves worth onto the bread.

The butter chicken was bland and really runny. I’ve never seen a more watery texture.

Everything in our order was bad, and none of our family enjoyed any of it.

The sad thing is, it didn’t used to be like this. It was pretty good several years ago. Whatever has changed will make sure we don’t go back. It was BAD.

I came to Rasoi for lunch a while back. In terms of food, their dishes were spicier than other places. The portions felt smaller than other places but they were also less expensive. The goat curry was what stood out the most. I’d give them 7/10

These guys are charging $3.95 for garlic naan and $2 for butter naan. Not even 10 cents garlic is being sprayed on per naan but they are charging $1.95 per naan just for 10 cents garlic. Pathetic customer interactions and attitude.

Even the server on the till was not understanding the concern….

Really bullshit and making people fool around the edmonton

One of the underrated restaurants in Edmonton. Definitely a good place to try vegetarian dishes like Laccha Paratha, garlic naan, panner lababdar. We are a fan of their Veg biryani as well. Their milkshakes are also good. The customer service is awesome by Nav and the entire team too.
