Ordered delivery. Main dish package was crushed and had leaked because it wasn’t held upright. Food was cold. We got direct delivery, so, the first stop.
The rice and beans were ok. The Texas fajitas, the shrimp had no flavor. Not just no seasoning, which was true, but the shrimp itself didn’t taste like shrimp.
The guacamole also has no flavor. I added salt and then it tasted like salt.
The nachos supreme were good.

A great little Mexican spot. Complementary Chips/Salsa – a nice heat/seasoned mixture served with thin chips that generously keep coming.
Tacos al Carbon – a great take on steak tacos with bacon, ham, cilantro, onion and avocado.
Milanesa – this dish is getting harder to find at many little Mexican joints we visit – thin cut steak or chicken breast pounded flat, lightly breaded and deep fried to perfection.
Chile Colorado – a classic tender steak stew with rice and beans – you can’t go wrong.
Cheese Dip – seasoned well and the perfect consistency – not watered down.

Ordered lunch delivery via Uber Eats. Turn around time and packaging was great. However, 2 of my 3 items seemed to have had partially cooked ground beef. I ordered the 3 combo and got a beef chalupa, homemade chile relleno, and chicken chimi. Chicken chimi was perfectly fine. The “chalupa” had a normal corn tortilla as a shell, and the pasty texture of the relleno filling looks quite odd (photos for reference.) Maybe I caught the place on an off day? Might consider a dinner service in person in the future for comparison. But as a first time diner here, this was a little disheartening considering the good reviews I went off of. 🙁

Five of us went last night. I’ve been there often and it’s my favorite food. However, last night everything seemed different … the food was brought cold. When we told them it was cold they just microwaved it. Three of us got sick. We asked for a manager and they said there wasn’t one, then called today still say no manager spent over 100.00 on food. We were also told even though the menu said authentic Mexican cruisine it’s actually Columbia’s / Persian food.

The hard taco lacked flavor of any kind. The ground beef in it was plain and dry.
The chicken enchilada also had no seasoning and was massive chunks that could not really be called “shredded”. The enchilada sauce tasted like it came from a can.
The chile relleno had no body to it, tasted like mush, and was covered in enough cheese sauce I thought I was on a 90’s Nickelodeon show.

My favorite Mexican restaurant. Hector is so friendly and the food is always good. Margaritas is delicious. Every Friday night they have a live singer/guitarist. Cannot recommend enough!
