We came from CA to visit this place. it was EXACTLY what you wanted from an American diner called poopies. The owner was on the grill. The wait staff was friendly and classic. Each photo on the wall had a different story, and there were a lot of them. They are happy to tell you the story of each photo too. You would think they get the same questions all the time, but they did not sound annoyed or tired of the questions at all.
The food was prime diner food. You already know what it tastes like. Look at the picture….yep, thats how it tastes. Its perfect for what it is. They do their food and they do it well.

Food is made fresh right in front. Owner works the while he talks with costumers and shakes hands. Can’t drive past this place when I am in the area. Taste of what Glens Falls was back in the day. Corned beef is homemade and delicious. This is Trump country. If you can’t appreciate that and Rock music playing while you enjoy your meal and atmosphere, then this place might not be for you. For me and my wife it is a go to.

Everything here was great. My mom and my daughter and I came after going to Glen Falls Hospital to have lunch and I’ll tell you what this guy here is one guy and his burgers was better than any five guys. Awesome I will definitely be back. Ide take a picture of my plate, but I already ate it.

I have eaten here mamy of times and never dissopointed. Food is always great. The soup is delicious. I was given a sample of the beef soup by Jerry. It was very good. I didnt get a bowl of it because I wanted to eat my food that I ordered.
People that live in this area know about this small little place. The atmosphere is to each their own. Some people have political issues with the owner. However if you get to know him he is a good guy.
Would I recommend this place for breakfast or lunch, yes I would. Will I go eat here again Yes I will.

We stopped in for breakfast. Ordered the homemade hash with one egg and one slice toast. Hubby got hash, 2 eggs and toast The hash was very good.
But when we got our check, we were charged over $7 dollars for one egg!!! And over $7 for hubbies 2 eggs
Our check was over $30, because for the eggs alone we paid over $14. Wish I thought to take photo of check. It just blew our minds to be charged that much for an egg. Prices for eggs are not that high any more. Feels like we were ripped off.

Our server was extremely attentive and friendly. The food came out very quickly. The French fries were very good, my BLT was mostly lettuce and tomato, there was hardly any bacon on it. This place is like stepping back in time.

If you’re not adding soup to your meal every time you’re here you’re missing out. I would suggest even taking an extra bowl home to enjoy the next day as you will not be disappointed. Pictured are my two favorites chicken tortellini and creamy tomato… thank me later.

Friendly, prompt service, very clean. Food was not impressive. I had homemade corned beef hash. It was burnt, greasy, and lacked flavor.
