This is my favorite bbq in Muskogee! Their ribs are outstanding fallin off the bone scrumptious! I don’t like their chopped beef – weird right? Fries are great! Baked beans – good. That’s all I’ve tried so far. Fast friendly service! This location reminds me of the bbq places I’ve eaten at for decades. Downhome Country decor. The specials are great – I got this big rib dinner for $12!

I hate to do this but I am VERY disappointed! If my grandfather had not owned My Place many years ago, I might have just let this go. I used the drive up window at 7:30 pm, Friday the 13th. The young girl that took my order was excellent! She even came outside to get my order because the speaker is so crappy, I couldn’t understand what she was saying. Kudos to her. She needs a raise!
Now, I ordered a pound of sliced brisket. With tax, $23.09. I got home and it was obvious the brisket had been under a heat lamp or something similar for hours! The meat was old and dried out all the way through! I gave most of it to my dog. 23 bucks for a lb. of dog food is outrageous! If I’m going to pay that much money for a pound of brisket I expect it to be reasonably fresh! My grandfather helped develop My Place’s reputation way back in the day. I take it pretty personal now when I go there and get worse than gas station quality BBQ. Do better, My Place!

What a great place with the BEST meats!! Super friendly and helpful staff. We were even offered brisket samples to confirm how we want our dinners. Highly recommend My Place BBQ!

Had the brisket, bologna and pulled pork, the meat was eehh, BBQ sauce isn’t that great, potato salad was delish, baked beans were really good but very spicy and mashed potatoes were delish. Waitress was very nice but not very attentive.

I had heard great things about this place so I went by there at 11:30 today and it was the Worst barbecue I’ve ever had in my life. The coleslaw and okra and bread was wonderful I got the chopped brisket and I don’t know if it’s filled with grease or what but one bite and I was done it was disgusting I will never return there. Even looking at it it looks gross it looks more like sloppy joes then chopped brisket.

I had brisket, my wife had a pulled pork sandwich. The pulled pork was really good, it had good flavor and was tender. The brisket had a good smoke but not much other flavor. It was good though. The green beans were good and baked beans were really good. They have a bit of a kick to them and we both liked them. The fries are really good, they need salt but were very good.
