I came in on a Sunday primarily to see a friend’s band, and I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect—but I ended up loving the whole experience. This is a genuinely large establishment with a great flow: you move from the front bar/pool area, past the main dining room, and out onto an impressively big patio perfect for live events.
I did encounter the Sunday parking challenge (I snagged a spot over by the post office side), but the minor logistics were immediately overshadowed by the quality of the food and service. Waiting until 4:30 PM for the ribs was absolutely worth it; they were the definition of fall-off-the-bone tender and incredibly juicy. Paired with a seriously good loaded potato, the entire meal was amazing.
A huge shout-out to Fibbie, who was my server. She was amazing, friendly, and incredibly attentive. As someone who wasn’t a local, I truly appreciated how welcome she made me feel. The atmosphere here is awesome, and I would visit again in a heartbeat, specifically for those ribs!

This place is within driving (walking?) distance of Lake Gregory, and it’s totally a tourist-spot. The decor was amazing, you almost feel like you’re in the Wild Wild West, the workers are all courteous and friendly. Ally (our server) went above and beyond for us, event thought we were a rather large group (8 of us, plus two cute kiddos). The ribs were smoked to perfection and the fries were perfect and crisp. Truly one of the best places to eat at if you’re in Crestline.

First visit to Stockade and absolutely not the last. My partner, Christophe Saint Lawrence (Flynn)—a local interior designer—and I stopped in while visiting Crestline to connect with other artistic creatives in the community, and we had a fantastic time.
The food was excellent and the portions were enormous in the best way. We split the club sandwich and still each took home leftovers. Fresh, satisfying, and clearly made with care.
What really stood out was the atmosphere: quick service, friendly staff, and genuinely engaging people. Everyone made us feel welcome, and we loved meeting locals along the way. Stockade came highly recommended—and now we know why.
Great food, great people, great vibe. If you’re in Crestline and hungry, this is a must-stop.

I dropped in on the way back from Big Bear. I was very pleasantly surprised with the awesome atmosphere and the decor gives a great authenticity to having a drink or a bite here. I reckon this would be a lovely place to drop by into any time. The service was quick and thoughtful with a really friendly vibe. I love photography and couldn’t resist capturing the exquisite colors and patterns.

I had a nice time here.It was laid back and they dont rush to get you out of here because good things shouldnt be rushed.They want you to enjoy your time here.I’m not exactly understanding the bad reviews as i had a decent experience in a laid back vibe.
The entrance is like stepping back in time to the OLD WEST because original solid wood floors and a wood burning stove that stays lit in the cold months.You’ll enjoy aestetically pleasing rustic Decor, from where this huge bar greets those for a drink where they look happy enjoying the laidback vibe.
In fact, by the time you drive up here, you will want to relax and take it easy and let the food servers wait on you.
Each time I’ve visited, they’ve done a remarkable job.
So thank you Stockade, you still are my BBQ, place here in Crestline.

We love this place and eat here often for taco Tuesdays. The wait staff is great, the bartender is great, the chips are fresh and the salsa is terrific. Stockade kitchen, could you please give vegetarians another option for tacos besides mashed potatoes? Even if you could just chop up and roast a bunch of seasonal vegetables like zucchinis, sweet potatoes, onions, carrots, that would be so great. Thanks for considering! See you later.

First time here and I blame myself for taking this long to come to this spot. Thank you for everything! The vibe is comforting and let me tell you about the food… I got wings, buffalo flavor. I’ve had a lot of wings in my life and let me tell you, the wings here are mouth watery amazing. I just left the restaurant and I’m still thinking about those wings. That’s how amazing it is that even the common food is too damn good to not pass up. The shrimp cocktail is another perfect creation. Perfect blend of flavors of shrimp. You have to try this place. Compliments to the chef. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed here.

We had boycotted this restaurant years ago, until we found out about new owners, so we tried it again: very pleased with the food and service! Very good Taco Tuesday selections and very good options on regular menu. Plus they have excellent cocktails!
