Nice people work here. Prices are fair. Most items are at the temperature they should be, and most items are very good. Of course there are odd items I’d never eat, but overall, they do an excellent job. Most buffets are awful. China Inn is well above average!

I ordered the chow mein for delivery. Tipped my driver very well. My soup is like water and my chow-mein has no noodles…
The lady on the phone was rude and kept telling me chow mein doesn’t have noodles.
I told her even on the menu it says noodles and everywhere I’ve ever ordered chow mein its noodles. It translates to noodles…
So I have mushy onions and shrimp with snow peas in a white sauce… the egg drop soup is disappointing and I feel like it’s hard to mess up that. I was trying to be calm and nice and just let her know they didn’t put noodles and she didn’t offer even a partial refund or a free anything next time and didn’t tell me they would fix it. So I guess if you want noodle-less chow mein…. This spot can do that

The food was great! We got there around 2:30 or so in the afternoon and food was fresh! I was impressed. Service was great too. We didn’t like the lemonade and they did not charge us for it. I recommend going here if you’re hungry.

For years and years our family were die hard Yen Ching fans, until they recently came under new ownership. The food there is now inedible and we were devastated. No longer having a dedicated Chinese restaurant was dark times for us. However, by some kind of Christmas miracle we decided to give China Inn a chance, and thank goodness we did. We ordered take out, chicken fried rice, hot braised chicken, and a pork egg roll. Everything we ate was absolutely stellar. It’s so nice to have a new go to Chinese place again❤️

I would Love to know when these people are eating there. This is our 3rd time, and it’s never been good. Tonight the food had been sitting on the buffet so long it was no longer warm. And the few items the did bring out fresh they dumped the old right on top. So that it was no longer fresh. The green beans had some form of fat congealed on them they where so cold. Nothing on that bar could have temped properly, a health inspector would have shut them down tonight

Great little buffet. Not a huge variety but what they do have is very tasteful. Fried rice was amazing and awesome potstickers too along with everything els I tried. Best egg drop soup I had in a long time. Would highly recommend and give a 10/10

I stopped going to this restaurant years ago and never returned as I thought they went downhill taste wise. Up until a few months ago, I decided to give them another try and am happy to say I will return another day. They did a whole 360 on flavor. Their fried rice is so damn flavorful and not too salty. Their shrimp is also nicely cooked. The sweet and sour chicken is bomb. I am picky with my Chinese food, but they definitely upgraded.

This Chinese buffet didn’t have a lot but 10+ dishes excluding dessert/ fruit table. The decor was upscale, some kind of dark brown beautiful hardwood floor, and an impressive huge horizontal Chinese painting of village people… Doesn’t accommodate more than 50 customer capacity room, was very hot noontime when visited on 9/22. Midwest weather can be unpredictable, very hot in the day and immediately night followed by lightning and rain… Thus far loving the locations, residents seemed experts at their own biz trades. Parking lot was very huge shared with some schools. Servers were wonderful and attentive to food drops on the floor. If you didn’t care getting contaminated by customers’ body odors, feel free to dine there.

Been going to the China Inn before the buffet and love it. Also place orders for delivery. Tonight was the first time I ever got wrong order. Called and told them I got wrong item and was told I needed to send a picture. Must be people out there calling in fake orders. So anyway was so loud on their end of the phone I couldn’t hear the photo phone number and felt like I was some kind of wrong order scammer. So I gave up and enjoyed the ragoons and soup.

I really liked it here. Great food, spacious place and kind staff. The sushi was good, the sweet and sour chicken and sesame balls were perfectly fried and delicious. My mom loved the coconut shrimp, and the homestyle donut. They have good potstickers and even had steamed buns. Would totally go again.
