So glad I stopped here instead of getting fast food. Delicious, and the atmosphere inside is so beautiful. I got the pollo fundido for lunch and saved half for my dinner tonight, spending a total of $15 (including 20% tip)

I ordered a cheese quesadilla… I was served a small flat tortilla with some kind of very thin milky white sauce. I asked the waiter what kind of cheese was in there and he told me it was American cheese, every body likes American cheese.
I don’t like American cheese, especially when it is unrecognizable even as American cheese
I assumed that they used cheddar cheese, and that honestly is on me. Will not ever order anything with cheese at this location.
Their beans were delicious, their rice was not that good either.
May have picked a bad day to go.
The service was great. It was warm and cozy…and the price of the meals were very reasonable.

Today we stopped in after shopping, right when they opened. We were the second family seated and they took our drink order. That was the last we saw of our waiter. He kept attending to other tables that came in after us and wouldn’t take our order. After a 37 min wait, I went to the kitchen window to ask to place an order. Five minutes later they sent a waiter to our table. After we got our food, they didn’t come back to the table again, until I went to the kitchen table again to ask for a refill and our check. No apologies. If you’re looking for good service, I would highly advise you to seek another Mexican option in town unless you like being your own server. FYI there was not a lack of staff and the restaurant was not even half full. There is no excuse for bad service.

Stopping by on a drive to view scenery up the Illinois and down the Missouri side of the river. Beautiful drive but the choice of restaurant was not so great. Got there early enough on the dinner rush that we thought all would be great. Not so. Our waitress later informed us that she simply forgot to submit our order so needless to say the wait didn’t help but the food wasn’t great either. My taco salad was very skimpy on the filling, noting the flour tortilla was not even half full of the taco filing. My husband’s fajitas were very good he said (they didn’t bring his wraps until the dish was nearly cold) but our friends dish was hardly edible with “the eggs cooked to Death” he said. Service nor food are not worth returning for.

Service was awesome both times we went! I had chicken chimichangas one time, awesome. The second time we share fajitas for 2. It came with two full plates of rice/beans/toppings and two skillets of meat & veggies. Way more food than we were expecting! Super delicious.

Had lunch with my brother and sister ❤️ and our spouse. We all had different things for lunch and everyone was very happy with the food and service we had. The six of us had drinks and lunch for 100 dollars. Great food and service, I will definitely be back to eat again. I highly recommend you go and try the food. It’s also very friendly everyone was so nice

I’ve been to several Dos Primos restaurants this is the only one that I have absolutely been disappointed in service was good the food tasted fine but what I got from my money was an extreme disappointment I could have gone to McDonald’s I ain’t got no more for what I paid for I will not be going back to this location
