This cozy place is a packed house on a Friday night, but worth the effort to find a seat. The atmosphere is lively, the service is friendly and attentive. The food is incredible, delicious doesn’t adequately describe the flavor profiles and the quality.

Decades of driving by this place finally stopped in on recommendation of a friend. Enjoyed my angry cowboy double cheese burger with everything and sweet potato fries. Wife ha a cheese burger with fries and our cousin had the Western Club with fries. This was an impulse buy been listening to Jimmy Buffett alot. Many years wasted not going here.

Came here for a quick bite while we were in the area the only issue what so ever was the parking. If it was packed it would be hard to find parking but other than that it was an amazing experience. Theres an inside and an outside. The inside is a nice bar and outside there is two patios one with high tables and the other had short picnic tables with two tvs. They even had a corn hole set up. There was also a fan outside which I thought was a nice touch. The outside looks like a cool old tavern. The food was good priced best eleven dollars I’ve ever spent on a burger meal. Best burger I’ve had in a long time. It was fresh juicy and absolutely delicious I got the double cheeseburger and fries the fries are amazing. They were really crunchy but not hard a perfect in-between.I swear this was one of if not the best bar and grill restaurants I’ve ever been too. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and inviting. Everyone was super friendly the service was perfect we had three burgers and got it in ten to fifteen minutes. I felt like I was at home with friends. If your in the area this is definitely the best bar to stop in town for a calm night and good food. The jack and coke was well mixed and everyone in the area feels like a community very nice people.

Driving through Bloomington/Normal we were looking for a pet-friendly place to eat lunch and found Western Tap!
Our waitress brought out a bowl of water for our dog right away.
My wife enjoyed the patty melt and I really liked the fish tacos – crispy / peppery chunks of fish and the Boom Boom Sauce was nice (probably a mixture of 1000 Island and Frank’s Red Hot).
Would definitely return!

The Food in general is very good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately they are often understaffed in waiting staff and it takes quite some time to get another drink.
Also they choose to display political decoration which makes them unpleasant.
Definitely don’t recommend to go there if you are educated.

Ordered some food Togo. Staff was friendly. Typical bar environment. Seems like a nice little pub. Has outdoor seating, and water bowls if you want to bring your doggo. Prices were pretty fair. I ordered the Rodeo Burger. I will eat here again for sure.

In town for family weekend, this bar was really close to our hotel so very convenient. I loved the drink special ( blackberry Jack Daniel’s ) ordered pretzel bites ( good) and onion rings ( really good!). Place was fairly busy but not packed. We waited to be seated and when no one noticed us we sat ourselves, self served at the bar. Ordered appetizers at the bar. Waitresses kept walking by but not making eye contact. They were serving and bussing, or maybe it was because we sat ourselves? Waitresses didn’t even serve our food- bar tender brought it out. Place had cute western bar decor, a pool table, and moving bison head that was good for a laugh.

Nice little neighborhood bar with food options! It’s all pub fare but reasonably priced and the service is quick. Onion rings were thick and well fried. They also have a nice outdoor patio area with seating.

Badass bar the way bars are supposed to be. Breath of fresh air for the middle of Illinois. Good affordable food with rowdy potential. Super attentive polite staff but don’t annoy you to death.
