I had a hard time finding the location the first time I went here, but if you want the BEST Loco Moco on the island… it’s here! At one point I was on a mission to find the best, I think I’ve now succeeded after 5 years of searching
I’ve also brought any friends/family who visit, and everyone has nothing but 5 star feedback. Not just on the Loco Moco, on whatever they try! My baby loves the smoked chicken sandwich

Holy Hawaiian BBQ! I’ve been stalling on writing a review for this place for the longest time, simply because I have been greedy and wanting to keep this place all to myself. Plus, if you arrive to late in the evenings, they tend to sell out on some of their more popular items. I always order the combination plate – add any of the sides and you cannot go wrong. All of their meats are smoked to perfection. If we don’t order it in our combo plates, we always get an additional kalbi order; my hubby insists!
The spot can be a little difficult to locate. Parking in the back is extremely limited, but I just park across the street or find street parking. The stairs might look daunting, but there’s an elevator if you’re having limited mobility. Majority of the seating is high top, which I love, but can be problematic for some. There are booths that can fit 4 comfortably, but they are limited. Restrooms inside too.
Don’t leave before trying their guava bar!

This restaurant came highly recommended by a friend. It was my first stop in Hawaii and did not disappoint. The pork plate was phenomenal. I would prob double up on the Mac salad next time. The entrance is hard to find. It’s in the parking lot behind the building on the second floor.

We stopped here to try Hawaiian BBQ. Though I think this was more of a Korean BBQ or maybe a fusion. I had the pork burger. It was so good! I really enjoyed it. My kiddos both got a bowl. One had chicken the other had short ribs. They both really enjoyed it. My husband had the 2 meat plate. He had duck and pork. It was pretty good. We enjoyed eating here. The lady that ran it was very nice and helpful in helping us decide what to eat. If you like Korean BBQ fusion this is a great place to stop.

Incredible smoked pork and salmon bellies plate!! Food came out fast and the meat/fish were incredibly tender and flavorful. Their chili pepper water hit the spot along with their chili garlic sauce. Highly recommend this spot! Entrance is in a back parking lot. Limited spaces. Staff was helpful and friendly

This is a great local dining place. They have amazing food. I got the pork and chicken combo. Full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and overall one of the best spots to get smoked meets in this area. Service was great, the gentlemen running the place is very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is awesome as well. Nice view of the area from the bar area.

This is probably the best kalbi I’ve had in recent years, and that includes a high-end Korean barbecue restaurant in Mountain View, CA. It’s really good. The seasoning was just right and the balance between lean and fat was perfect. We ordered a mix plate with kalbi and pork, and that’s perfect portion for two girls. The pork was good too but can’t compare with the kalbi. The guava slushy was very tasty too. And the patio has a nice view of the golf park. Will definitely come back for its kalbi!

Perfection! Go eat here you will not be disappointed. Was in Hawaii for a week and ate here twice and the other days i didn’t i kept thinking of this place. I got the chicken plate. It’s sweet and has a really good flavor. Love the rice and of course the Mac salad. The atmosphere is insane. Live music, windows open, you can smell the ocean. Amazing! 20/10
