I visited this restaurant for the first time based on a coworker’s recommendation, and it truly exceeded my expectations. As suggested, we ordered the mixed grill along with a few thali platters to sample a variety of dishes. The mixed grill was an absolute flavour bomb—perfectly seasoned, tender, and incredibly satisfying. The accompanying salad, mixed with yogurt and spices, elevated the experience even more.
The butter chicken was easily one of the best I’ve had, rich and authentic, and the other curries were equally impressive. We’ve often been disappointed with Indian restaurants in Winnipeg, but this place finally delivered the authentic taste we’ve been searching for. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

We used this restaurant for catering and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and there was plenty for all of our guests. We visited on Saturday evening for dinner, and we absolutely loved it! The food was amazing — their seekh kebabs are made in-house and were full of flavor. We also tried the chilli paneer and malai soya chaap, both were really good.
We had a couple of drinks there and took our main course as takeaway — mutton, paneer, and lachha paratha. Everything tasted great, and the paratha was especially delicious.
We also grabbed a box of sweets on our way out — super fresh and tasty! Overall, a really good experience. Definitely one of the best spots in Winnipeg for authentic Indian food. Highly recommend!

The food was absolutely amazing! Every dish had such an authentic Indian taste, rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with spices. You can truly tell it’s made with care and tradition. Our host, Naaz, was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the entire experience even more special. The service was just as wonderful as the food. A special thank you for the thoughtful balloon for my sister, such a sweet gesture that really made our visit memorable. We will definitely be coming back.

I went to this restaurant last night with my family to celebrate my birthday, and we had a really great time. The food was very, very good and we enjoyed everything we ordered. One of my friends works there, which made it even nicer, but the best part was how kind the owner was. They made my birthday extra special by giving me complimentary desserts and a special treat. It was such a sweet gesture and made my night memorable. I’m really happy we chose this place and I would definitely recommend it.

Don’t judge by my shaky pics—the platter at Chacha Wow scores a solid 100/100. Every bite is smoky, juicy, and packed with bold spice; we were speechless except for a collective “wow.” The photos can’t capture the heavenly aroma, but they still show those charred edges and vibrant colours sizzling away. Trust me, you’ll leave grinning and already planning your next visit.
