Ate here after antique shopping today. It’s a local business and we like supporting those and we saw locals in there that you can tell frequent the place. I’m picky about BBQ because there is a lot out there in the country. This isn’t my favorite but was pretty good overall. If you come in with proper expectations or those of a typical BBQ place you won’t be disappointed at all! It was extremely clean, staff was very attentive and kind, the food was very good also other than some cold beans. Things happen! The Mac and cheese though, lots of bad out there! This was some of the best I’ve had! The cheese to pasta ratio was on point and had good flavor! Check it out!

The food is absolutely amazing. The staff were so friendly, and kind, and the cook sounds really dedicated to his craft. The restaurant is beautiful. I had the grilled cheese brisket sandwich, garlic mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese. I can’t wait to go back!

The review right before me is so funny, only 2 tables packed? I was there with my husband and 2 kids and the place was packed, we also only waited 20 mins for 4 meals but go off about you neglecting to check what time it was and coming during lunch rush. We heard and watched you blow up for no reason, thanks for ruining our dining experience

The food was delicious ! ! Tender, true & deep smoke flavors ! We all enjoyed every bite !
We are about 70 miles away but we will return soon ! Thanks to the owner for greeting us at the door & checking on us when the food was served!

I used to love this barbecue place, but it has completely gone downhill in the last few years. I don’t understand why it takes almost 30 minutes to fry up a side of french fries and to heat up a small bowl of Brunswick stew TO GO. Especially when they only had two tables in the restaurant eating. If you’re shortstaffed, then you shouldn’t be open. The stew was DISGUSTING with no seasoning. Basically tomato juice with chunks of meat and corn thrown in. I threw it away. I won’t be back which is sad because I used to drive an hour just for the stew. Now I know why it’s so bad is because it was sold to someone else and they clearly have no idea what they’re doing. Save your money and drive to Cleveland for North GA BBQ, you won’t be disappointed!

I have been a customer for over 20 years. I drove 5 hours from Tennessee to have lunch with my wife. You changed everything..so sad. I will never come back. You had the best coleslaw better than kfc and that says alot..Now just bowl of mayo..horrible. No Riblets are you kidding me. I arrived at opening time and No ribs either. My wife had chopped chicken and it was a pile of mush…what happened to the large chunks chicken. Also the wings had zero sauce. And keeping the bbq sauce in the fridge so you put cold sauce on your meat. Ridiculous. So sad your losing a customer of 20 years. The only bight side was Sydney our waitress. If it’s not broke don’t fix it as the old saying goes.

I called in a order at Mickey piggs. Picked the order up and got almost home got a call from them. They had gave me the wrong order. Turned around and went back. I live almost 20 miles away. They gave ma a bag. When I got home only half the food I ordered was in the bag. Called back and couldn’t get anyone to answer. Kept calling until it finally said they were closed. I paid $70 for about $20 worth of food. Will not be going back.
After trying the food I was really disappointed. The BBQ sauce and slaw were awful and the ribs were nothing but fat….

Stopped for lunch while in the area and my family loved it! Everything we had was great, pulled pork with slaw, brisket, wings, cornbread muffins and assorted homemade desserts. Service was phenomenal and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Oh my goodness…. What a nice “find” on our way out of town.  I’ve been eating low carb, low sugar for over a year now – so eating out, especially on road trips, can be a challenge.  Not here!  The BBQ was so delicious.  Perfectly smoked, and sauce on the side if asked.  Do not leave without trying the smoked wings – making me hungry just thinking about them.  The staff were so courteous and attentive and pleasant.  This was a great lunch.  Thank you Mickey Pigg’s!

I have eaten at this restaurant for many years and have experience many different owners good and bad. The newest owner to take the name of Mickey Pigs has to be the worst one yet! The food we just experienced was mixture of over cooked, under cooked, flavorless or oddly tasted like tomatos. I hate to say this, but we won’t be back. Can’t wait for the negative reply from the owner.
