Hands down one of the best Italian places I’ve been too in a long time. Honestly it is definitely a hidden gem from the main city street. Highly recommend the lasagna the owner says it’s his grandmother’s recipe.

This was an amazing dinner. We have not had authentic Italian cuisine like this in years! The service is the best, our server was so sweet and helpful with our questions. The owner was very kind also. Now let’s talk about the food. Appetizers bruschetta, generous portions and nicely flavored. I had the salad with pear and Gorgonzola was delicious. The rigatoni alla boscaiola was incredibly fresh homemade pasta, and the sauce was delicious too. The spaghetti alla carbonara was amazing, the best we’ve had anywhere. To end we had tiramisu, it was so good you should definitely order this. Overall would reccomend this restaurant and will be coming back again

Let me start by saying that this restaurant is awesome. Point blank, one of the best places I have ever eaten. My wife decided to come here just by looking at good places to go in Ft. Lauderdale and made a reservation. We were greeted by Enrico, the owner and our server for the night. He was a pro the entire time. He told us about how the recipes were all from his grandmother back in Italy. Everything we ate reflected that love. The Nonnas meatball appetizer was insane. They were delicious and we could’ve drank the rest of the marinara sauce with a straw. The eggplant appetizer was delicious too. I ordered the bolognese lasagna and my wife ordered the pesto gnocchi with chicken. Everything was amazing. Every bite. Even the dessert, tiramisu and salted caramel cheesecake were delectable. Service was top notch and everything came out quickly. 100% we will be back and soon at that. Thank you Enrico for everything.

Thanks to Claudio and staff for taking such good care of our group of 15.
Last month we were 9 people and yesterday we were 15.
The food was great. The pizza dough /under carriage was perfectly crunchy. Firm yet very light. The cheese was generous. The aubergine parm was amazing.
The craft beer (Flea) was delish but most of all, the service was stellar. Claudio is a gracious host.
Thanks again and until the next time, grazie e ciao

We visited Sapido for dinner while in Ft Lauderdale. Very cute and intimate restaurant in a lovely part of town. We were seated immediately – not too much seating but we did not have to wait. Henrico, who served us but also happens to be the owner, was so kind and informative about the menu and wine options – a selection of his family recipes and favorite wines. We had the Cesar salad, eggplant parm. The eggplant was his grandmas recipe – no batter no fry – super light and delicious. You could taste the freshness of the eggplant and tomato sauce. The burrata was excellent – perfectly paired with arugula and tomatoes. The house bread and basil aioli was 10/10. We pesto gnocchi was cooked to perfection – I felt like they just melted in my mouth. Tiramisu for dessert is a MUST! Enrico thank you so much for the warm experience. We wish you the absolute best. Highly recommend when visiting Ft Lauderdale!

An amazing small local Italian restaurant..
Great atmosphere, amazing food. Excellent service.
Locally run and owned by an Italian gentleman.
He was extremely attentive. And recommended wines and food.
We started with a light white wine photo attached. And had the eggplant starter which was so tasty we ordered a second plate of it, and the mozzarella caprese. Yum.
Then we had a fragrant bottle of red with dinner. I ordered the mushroom ravioli which are hand made in the restaurant daily, they were so good my friends ate some. And another friend was gluten intolerant so she ordered the gluten free penne with a basil pesto which was yummy.
We finished with espressos and cappuccinos and tiramisu.
An amazing dining experience will definitely recommend and go back soon.

I’m particular about Italian food, and this place is outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend it. The pasta tastes just like it does in Italy.

Authentic Italian cuisine made with top-tier ingredients. With limited seating, reservations are a must, but it’s worth it every time. Excellent service and a warm, family-style atmosphere make it a standout.

This small, local Italian restaurant is really cute and has a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere felt cozy and authentic. We tried the spaghetti and meatballs as well as the ragù, and both dishes were tasty and satisfying—good, comforting pasta.
The main reasons for the 4 stars instead of 5 are that it was very noisy inside, and while the pasta was good, it wasn’t quite at that exceptional five-star level. If you visit, I’d definitely recommend sitting outside—it’s much more pleasant and lets you enjoy the meal without all the noise.
Still, it was an enjoyable experience overall, and I’d happily come back for the friendly service and charming neighborhood feel.
