Visited on 04/21/2025 around 6 pm. I was undecided where to eat dinner, so my husband chose this place while we were driving around looking for a place to eat. The place was cowboy Texas themed, so the restaurant decor and atmosphere was fitting. Our server was very friendly. I wish I remembered her name.
Now, the food review: we started with the Texas Flower. We started eating from the outside “petals”. I liked that the batter was light and airy with perfect crispiness. And it wasn’t too salty. Since our sauce was leaning sideways, I took it out of the middle part of the flower. That’s when I discovered the uncooked batter! I thought it was the sauce spilled a little in that hole, but upon closer inspection and tasting, it was no doubt raw batter. We brought it up to our server and she was very apologetic, and looked embarrassed, and offered to have the kitchen redo it. We decided not to.
Our meal came with either soup or salad and my husband and I both ordered their soup of the day, chicken dumplings, based on the recommendation of our server. Unfortunately, it was pretty bland, with no chicken flavor at all, and the dumplings were too mushy. We took a couple spoonfuls and stopped. Our server asked how we liked it and we told her it wasn’t our favorite. Again, she was very apologetic and later, she took it upon herself to remove it from our bill. We didn’t asked nor expect her to do so, but she said she felt bad because she raved about it and convinced us to order it. We thought that was very kind of her to comp the soups.
For the main entrees, I ordered the Sirloin Steak and half Baby Back Rib combo, and my husband ordered their Pasta Alfredo. Neither one of us really enjoyed our meal. The expected flavors and quality missed the mark.
The only redeeming factor of our visit was our super friendly server who tried her best to make our experience better. I almost forgot to mention that she comped the Texas Flower too, per the manager. We eat out a lot and don’t ask to remove certain things from the bill, but when our server goes above and beyond to correct the issue, it is to be praised and commended. She was overall awesome!

Decided to try this place for dinner and it was pretty good! The bloomin onion was the only thing I did not like, unfortunately it had no flavor. But the rest of the food was good! My steak was cooked perfect. My wife’s steak did come out over but we just shared mine.

The atmosphere is wonderful, and customer service was great. The food was alright, not the best sirloin I’ve had. The mashed potatoes were sticky and do not recommend it. The flavored lemonade was not that great, but the dr pepper was. Next time, I’d try the ribeye over the sirloin. The peanuts were great, though. Overall, it’s not too bad. The salad was tremendous, though.

First time there. 1. The drink was delicious, but the long island ice tea could’ve been stronger. 2. The rolls were hot hot hot. 3 The chili was warm, not hot. 4. I had a sirloin it was juicy, and omg delicious. The seasoning was point on. The shrimp scampi were out standing, and the ribs fell off the bone and could use a little more sauce. Will be returning.

The food was okay. I enjoyed the steak burger with bacon, and the onion flower was pretty good. The nachos had old chips that made them not as good; the nachos weren’t hot, and the cheese wasn’t pleasant. The butter rolls were amazing and hot! Overall, okay experience with the food.
The service was phenomenal! The front of the house host seats you with the best energy. My direct server, Paige, was extremely kind, kept my water cups full, and checked on me frequently. Very nice service!
The atmosphere was amazing! I love how clean the restaurant was, the decor, the quotes on the walls, the televisions, the Texas vibe, everything was nice.
All in all, it was a great experience at Texas Corral!

This place is amazing. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The portions are so large including the drinks which literally comes in a huge jar. I enjoyed every bit of the fish, salad and appetizer we ordered. Also think the price is very pocket friendly plus you get complimentary peanuts on your way out. I was so full, I skipped dinner. Definitely recommend.

When we walked in a lady by the name of Katherine, the hostess, was not nice at all. We had 6 people and she shoved us in a tiny booth. The place was empty. When we asked if we could get more seating, she said you can just follow me in a very rude and unprofessional manner. She almost ruined the dinner. Then when we asked her for more bread she didnt answer and just rolled her eyes and walked away. Other than that rhe server was great and food was fantastic.
