Neverenough Plants
I’ve literally been eating Mexican food at this location for almost 20 years, and I’ve been satisfied with each “family night” meal. It was once a loud and wild mall atmosphere, and now it’s a nice little corner off a busy street. I want to also point out how clean and shiny the place is. I like looking around while I’m here too. Delicious and our favorite family night destination in our neighborhood!

I’ll be honest—I ordered from María Bonita by mistake, thinking I was ordering from a different Mexican restaurant. I was disappointed with myself at first, but I followed through and went to pick up the order anyway.
The restaurant is tucked away in the old Global Mall parking area near the AMC theater. Despite that, it wasn’t hard to find at all—the parking lot was absolutely packed. Once inside, I was immediately greeted by the sound of two slightly tipsy patrons absolutely butchering a karaoke song at the top of their lungs. Every table was full, the music was loud, and the whole place felt lively, welcoming, and full of energy.
Instant regret: I ordered to go.
It looked like an incredible time to dine in. And the food? Extremely good—even as takeout. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
Turns out, this was the best mistake I could’ve made. I’ll definitely be back—next time, dining in.

According to the locals, this is the best Mexican restaurant in Nashville. The food was very good, we tried the carne asada, the fajitas and the tacos. Everything was great! The owner was super friendly and they do have a great service in general.

Our first experience dining here! It was tremendous except the restrooms were both out of order… I just wanted to wash my hands but they did have hand sanitizer just inside the door. The food was very good and the Salsa may be the best I’ve ever tasted! The chips were right out of the oven! Good value for the money! Highly recommend this place!

Coming from a 250lbs foody who go and do reviews for a living let me be the 1st to say who ever said anything bad about this place is absolutely wrong everyone here is very friendly Maria walks around with a smile on her face everytime I’m here the food is amazing these ground beef taco salads are to die for I got a top shelf monster margarita I’m already feeling it my fat ahh also got an order of shrimp the shrimp is the best even better than any seafood place if I have anything bad to say about today out of the 5years I’ve been coming here is that the cheese dip was kinda milky but still good and the salsa is not the same other than that this place is and always have been amazing every server in here is very friendly and let me tell ya Maria and her staff keeps this place good and clean and decorated the atmosphere is nice and different each time I come so trust me who ever is reading this I state the truth whole truth and nothing but this place gets 100Stars food 10 out of 10 me Rochelle and my husband loves this place so come get ya some good food and do some karaoke

My first time to visit. Server said they didn’t serve vodka. I ordered ultra draft beer. Ordered a 2nd and was brought a dark beer. Server corrected. Ordered chicken nachos. Worst ever seen. Watered juice in plate. Very little real cheese. Do not recommend food here. Had much better food other places.
