10/10 wonderful! We sat at the sushi bar and chatted with the chef, he made us a few “chef specials” of his choice and it was amazing!!

I get that we can use the app to book a reservation, but at the same time though..we were trying to get in the same day. No one answers the phone. My partner has tried calling and including myself. I’ve decided to show up instead. The hostess sat us at a table that was slanted against the doors. He told us we couldn’t sit anywhere else because all of the spots were reserved. I sat and ate an entire meal-the restaurant was empty-no one showed up by the time I left. Our server was okay, but she took a while to bring us our drinks and items out. There were absolutely no condiments on the table. It’s a a japenese restaurant-where was the soy sauce? Bruh, I had to walk up to go get it. Truthfully, I would never come back. It was a hassle to come eat here. I don’t want to do it again. The most limited menu on the planet with over priced sushi. We’ve spent 150 dollars total to get the most bs service and not really good food at all.

Excellent sushi, vibes and crowd. The nigiri flight is amazing (get it dressed) and I love the salmon zest roll, voodoo queen and warehouse roll. Espresso martini was perfect. Staff is gorgeous (off duty models ?) and so fun. Yay so glad I found this place

It was a really fun spot to go to, the portions were very small for the amount of money they charge.
The lady was nice and upbeat when she was helping us, but she hardly ever returned to our table to ask what we wanted to dri k or wat and we had to wait a long time even though they were rushing us.
Overall though it was a cool vibe and the sake was good, the waitress who told me about it was very knowledgeable.

Not the same place we knew years ago…. Looked slow so we decided to pop in without a reservation. They had a few spots at the sushi bar so cool no big deal let’s do it. Well…. It smelled like rotten garbage being that close to the kitchen ( almost left just because of that it really was bad) just wanted to get a few things quick and head out ordered a couple rolls and some fried rice. The fried rice was absolutely horrible like tasted like boiled chicken scraps and boiled eggs zero flavor so between that and the smell I just couldn’t eat it. Volcano roll wasn’t too bad but honestly I’ve had equal or greater quality sushi from rouses . Our waiter DJ was the only reason we even stayed . Nice guy does a great job. Someone should let the dude in the kitchen with 10lbs of curly hair on top his head to put a hat on or wear a hair net. As much as we used to love going to rock n sake I can honestly say I will never be back there. Oh and lastly if your going to seat people at the sushi bar make sure the glass coolers that the product is displayed in right in front of you doesn’t have crud and grime in all of the corners on the inside where the food is kept

Our food was delicious. I really enjoyed the seasonal drink menu. The Fireside Glow was my favorite. The atmosphere was well decorated.

If you have a large group just don’t go . With a group of 12 on Jan 3rd at 8 pm . Server was rude. We had terrible service . There for 2 and a half hours it took 45 minutes to get a beer and a water then I NEVER got another refill and was ignored when going sit at bar for a drink . Never asked for anything else because I had no chance after I placed order for food . Not offered a box . Unfortunately the server knew it was a automatically added 20 percent gratuity so she didn’t care at all . Take your money somewhere else , you would think if your spending 1000 in a business you would get excellent service . Won’t be back there not even if invited for another birthday .

This downtown NOLA sushi spot off the beaten path is great to try sushi but be prepared for steep prices.
We enjoyed the:
– Tuna sashimi
– Salmon nigiri
– Voodoo roll (highly recommend if you like spicy tuna)
– Party boat platter
While the sushi is legit I had several issues:
– Absurd pricing. $9 for a bottle of water without notice. No thanks!
– Upcharges: $3 for dressing on sashimi, which is already pricey at $9 for two pieces of nigiri (typically $4-5 per piece).
– Menu discrepancies: Online menu doesn’t match the actual menu, and they’re not affiliated with the chain.
Considering it’s NOLA, I would prefer not to pay NYC prices for sushi. If prices were more reasonable this would be 5 stars.
Note for the owner – You have great potential for this place. However, considering how dead the place was on a Thursday night, I would recommend experimenting with pricing / specials to get more people in the door.

Great dinner vibe if you’re looking to kick off the night with some energy! Food is amazing, fresh, and vibrant! The music playlist is always on point! The staff works hard to ensure guests are accommodated and leave happy! Thank you for making each experience so wonderful and setting the stage for a fun night on the town!
This is a popular downtown restaurant with a smaller kitchen. The restaurant tries their best to get food out as quickly as possible and will do everything possible to speed up the process while ensuring food quality remains high. Have a laissez les bons temps rouler and you’re all set for a wonderful night!

The food was delicious, and the staff were polite and enthusiastic, making the dining experience enjoyable. However, I noticed a discrepancy between the menu prices and the actual charges. This is an error on the restaurant’s part and should not be the responsibility of the customer. I hope the restaurant can improve on this for a better customer experience.
