I recently moved from California to Arizona and was desperately searching for a good place to eat — somewhere that serves food that resonates with my culture, cooked properly and full of flavor. Lo and behold, I found this gem of a restaurant called Dawat Indian Cuisine. Hands down, it’s one of the best restaurants in the area.

Among the many delicious dishes I’ve tried, my go-to is the chicken kabob — and let me tell you, it’s the best!

Thank you, Mahboub brother, for your amazing food and hard work. Keep it up — you’re doing an incredible job!

The food is great. Naan is a nice size and portions are very filling. We got the chicken tikki Masala and Makhani. Not the greatest atmosphere to dine in but we really enjoyed the food.

Got a takeaway from Daawat after seeing their advertisement for Ambur Wedding Biryani. Honestly, it didn’t taste like authentic Ambur biryani at all. It felt more like a regular dum biryani. I think it would have been better if they had advertised it as a normal dum biryani instead of labeling it Ambur style.

That said, the biryani was okay for the price paid—not bad, just not what was promised. Decent value, but expectations didn’t match the reality.

We love Daawat! We order at least every couple weeks. The Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma and Andra Chicken are our favorites. Have to get the Chicken Special Biryani with every order too! Recently tried the meat samosas and those are fantastic too. Love that its a family business too and everyone is so nice.

Delivery. Lamb Korma. It had very little meat and was loaded with bones, even very small ones. I could have choked or broken a tooth. I am not accustomed to lamb with bones, though goat often is served bone in. The menu should have clearly stated that there were bones. The sauce was so salty I couldn’t eat it. The pakoras were okay, but the naans were thoroughly burnt. Only a few good bites in each, and not much garlic. I would absolutely not recommend this place!

I purchased biryani’s and was shocked to find that the chicken was not only contaminated but the biryani itself was spoiled. It was an incredibly unpleasant experience, as the food was not just unappetizing, but potentially unsafe to consume. I hope they take immediate steps to improve food safety standards and quality control.

I ate biryani at Daawat Indian Cuisine and it was really good. The biryani was fresh, flavorful, and served in very good quantity. The prices are reasonable and worth it for the quality they provide. Overall, a great place for biryani lovers. Everyone must try it!

Place was great, man at the counter was nice and helped us make a good choice for food. Tiny location but cozy and clean. Served in all disposable dishes and silverware was my only complaint but kinda makes sense because you’re bound to take home food.
Overall i recommend just be ready to pay 25/person for a quick bite to eat.

Ordered the Chicken Tandoori, and asked for boneless. Plate came out was huge! Massive flavorful delicious chicken chunks with some cucumber slices and onions I could use. My side of garlic naan was also bigger than I thought, looking more the size of a small pizza! 🙂 The naan was good alone, or stuffing with a chuck of chicken! I finished off my meal with a cup of chai, and sat back in complete satisfaction, alhamdulillah. <3

I had ordered 3 Briyani’s , all of them are not good in taste or the quality nor the Quantity.
Before order they are very responsive but after payment, they won’t response for your feedback or concerns. I travelled all the way from Chandler (45miles) just to taste the Briyani. It’s waste of time and money.
