If you’re in the area and love Japanese food, this food truck is an absolute gem you shouldn’t miss. I’ve been a regular customer for quite some time, and it has never disappointed me. The quality of the food is consistently excellent—every bite feels fresh and flavorful. Their California rolls are perfectly balanced with creamy avocado, crisp cucumber, and fresh crab. The spring rolls are light, crisp, and make a great starter before diving into their sushi selection.
The sushi itself is where this truck truly shines. The fresh salmon practically melts in your mouth, and their spicy tuna rolls pack just the right amount of heat without overwhelming the flavor of the fish. You can tell the ingredients are carefully chosen and handled with pride, which makes a huge difference.
One thing to note is that the staff’s English is limited, so placing an order might require a bit of pointing or patience. But honestly, that small language barrier is part of the charm—it’s a reminder that this food comes straight from people who know their craft and pour authenticity into every dish.
For anyone who enjoys good Japanese food at great value, this food truck is a local must-visit. It’s earned my loyalty, and I’m sure it’ll win you over too.

Only tried the Seaside Combo with salmon here for the kids. Only $5 and kids loved it. Not the most eye pleasing and looks to fall apart. But for the price and consider a “good truck” style, pretty good. Parking a bit of a pain. Maybe there is a lot I am not aware of. We parked on the street very close by. Lot of other vendors near by so its definitely worth of checking out. Pets friendly and dedicated “human” and “pets” fake grass area. We were able to eat while kids just run around with good visibility from most angles. Lots of sitting area with umbrellas, but probably not ideal in the rain. Will come back for sure.

We ordered sushi burritos from this food cart, which had recently increased their prices by $5. We were hesitant to order at first, but we caved because we were craving them and one of us had never tried them before.
The service was great! They were out of chicken, but they offered to make us a custom burrito for a small upcharge. However, they later found that they had enough chicken after all, so we didn’t have to pay extra.
The wrap itself didn’t hold up very well. It came apart a few times, which made eating the burrito a bit messy. The seaweed didn’t wrap around the sushi fully, which also contributed to the messiness. The parchment paper was also a bit weak, which made it difficult to hold the burrito together.
Overall, the food was delicious and filling. However, we don’t think it’s worth the new price of $15 for a food cart item. We would be more likely to order it again if it was priced at $12. The price increase from $10 to $15 is a bit steep, and we think it’s not quite worth the extra money for a food cart item.

Quite literally the worst California roles I’ve ever had. It tastes like they don’t clean their sushi mat. They rolls themselves are poorly assembled, the ingredients weren’t even chopped up, just lazily cut in to awkwardly large portions and crammed into to a poorly wrapped roll.
We got a lot for our buck but the “dirty sushi mat” taste made it so we just gave our leftovers to our garden. Would never eat here again or recommend it to anyone else. The positive reviews leave me baffled. Maybe I just unlucky and got a new employee or one who has stopped caring.

So the lady behind the counter is immediately haughty, that was already kinda weird, off the bat. I don’t care if they serve vegan sushi burritos and are located in a super convenient location. The burrito was probably the smallest attempt of being called a burrito I ever laid my eyes and hands on. Yeah it had mango in it and super fresh veggies like avo as well, but I don’t really think 10 dollars is fair AT ALL for yes, rabbit food. I say this lovingly as well because I’ve been vegan for about 2 years. Waste of money for picnic eats when you’re not really about a picnic. So in other words, it’s not really a good *idea, pun intended, to come here.

Probably the best sushi in Portland. If you haven’t tried the sushi burrito it’s a must have. Also the workers are so friendly. Very happy with this experience. Highly recommend.

Really good sushi, really terrible hours. Every time I come here it says you’ll be back at different times, I never know when it’s actually open! It’s the dinner rush hour and I’ve seen almost 10 people since 330 come up and walk away. I can’t keep coming if y’all aren’t open during regular hours. Other carts are open and busy, take advantage of it.

nothing special in my opinion. it’s like grocery store sushi and they’re charging a dollar for the tiniest side of teriyaki sauce i’ve ever seen, so that sucks. probably won’t be back.
