Absolutely fantastic! I have no words to fully express how delicious the food was and how wonderful the service felt. It was my first time dining here, but I wish I had discovered this gem earlier—without a doubt, the best food I’ve had in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The owner personally served us and was so kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more special. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
This place instantly became my go-to spot. Next time I’m in Niagara-on-the-Lake, there’s no question where I’ll be eating—it will be Aura on the Lake again. Ohhh, it was sooo good! Highly recommend!

Aura On The Lake is a true gem in Niagara-on-the-Lake! Their service is warm and attentive, and the quality of food is exceptional. I was especially impressed by their courage to revive forgotten Indian dishes like Murg Wajid Ali — it’s rare to find a restaurant in Canada that honours classic recipes while reinventing how Indian cuisine is presented.
Their bar is another highlight, with an amazing selection of Indian liquors you won’t find anywhere else in the region. If you’re looking for authentic, beautifully crafted Indian food paired with great service and unique drinks, Aura On The Lake is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Great restaurant to enjoy a meal. We came in late afternoon but they still served us lunch. Super good salmon bowl that came with tasty mushroom matar. The chicken rice bowl was good too, especially the sauce. The mango lasse wasn’t too sweet like many other places we’ve tried. Very quiet and spacious interior. Highly recommended!!

What a find in NOTL! Aura On The Lake is an absolute gem for anyone seeking incredible Indian fusion food where taste is truly the top priority. From the moment we sat down, the lovely ambiance and warm hospitality from the owners and staff set the stage for a memorable meal.
We started with drinks, and I have to rave about the Mango Mojito – it was the best cocktail I’ve ever had, with a perfect, surprising kick of spice! The Buratta Chaat was a brilliant starter; a creative fusion of classic Sev Puri with a creamy, fresh burrata at its heart that made every bite refreshing and delicious.
For our main, the Adraki Paneer with Rosemary Naan was wonderfully comforting. It had a genuine, home-like quality that was flavourful without being heavy, so you could indulge without the guilt. We finished with the Gulab Melange for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending.
If you get the chance, sit outside! It truly enhances the wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

My wife and I came to Niagara on the lake for a little wine and wellness retreat and when we walked past Aura on the Lake the delicious smells let us know that we had found our restaurant spot! The owner greeted us and walked us through the menu, giving us tips and suggestions throughout our evening. We chose the dinner for 2 menu and had some of the most amazing Indian food we have ever tasted! I can’t wait to go back to try it all, but the appetizer and dessert we had were truly amazing!!! A huge thank you to the owner for an incredible start to our vacation!

A great experience. The naan was amazing. We ordered the kadhai lamb (if I recall correctly) to share. It was equally amazing. Our kids loved the naan as well. Also ordered a whiskey flight. Staff was among the best we’ve ever experienced. Can’t recommend enough.

Worth the trip from Niagara Falls! Aura on the Lake serves up Indian staples with fun twists like Butter Chicken Poutine, plus an impressive Canadian wine and beer list. The staff was accommodating and friendly, too.

By far the best Indian food we’ve ever had! They really know how to cook authentically. Wine list is impressive and the service is wonderful. In the winter, it was quiet and not busy but I’m sure it’s bustling when the patio is open. If you like impeccable food, you won’t be disappointed!
