Inside Centro, and besides the menu at the front counter, you wouldn’t know it was here. I was greeted by a friendly server/bartender who gave me an overview of how things work. I tried to order via the QR code but it wouldn’t work so I had to order at the counter. I got a Centro Shandy (fantastic) and “the original” hippo pocket (ok). It reminded me of a better made taco bell crunchwrap. It’s convenient having everything stuffed in a tortilla but at $12 seemed kinda pricey for what it is. Chipolte is better and less expensive, IMHO. Im not a fan of low service models for new concepts as it makes it hard to interact with people who know the restaurants offerings best.

Stumbled across this place and i’m so glad I did! The staff were so kind and helpful and the vibe of the restaurant is so colorful and fun! Don’t forget the food! I enjoyed the birria pocket and the chicken bacon ranch pocket. However I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu! In my opinion you get a big portion which makes the price worth it. I will be returning 🙂

I love these Hippo Pockets so much. They are filled with all sorts of goodies. I tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch, which is packed with Crispy Chicken Tenders, Tons of Bacon, Creamy Ranch and Tomatoes & Lettuce. The Tortilla is folded and sealed with a golden brown crust! The online ordering was easy and the staff made the pick-up easy. The food was still warm when I got home. I’ll be ordering again to try the rest of the menu!

For 6$ i recieved 6 Waffle fries, the gyro hippo pocket had alot of vinegar/cucumber taste. My friend with the Philly beefsteak pocket thought it was good..took around 10 minutes to prepare, was fresh ingredients.
