London quality in a small Hertfordshire alley.
This was my first time visiting Bellaccino’s and after not having much luck finding a decent Italian restaurant in the area I didn’t have high expectations. It’s fair to say I was positively disappointed! The restaurant is located in a charming area, has a lovely warm atmosphere and the staff is really kind and friendly. But the food.. oh it was lovely and fresh, definitely hit the right spot! The antipasti with the pizza bread was delicious and the Panna cotta was to die for! I’m already looking forward to visiting soon.

Bellaccinos in St Albans is a fantastic spot for a relaxed meal with great food and wine. We started with olives and a glass of wine, and the olives were incredibly fresh and paired beautifully with the wine. A simple start done really well.
For mains, we had the spicy pancetta pasta. The flavours were perfectly balanced with a gentle heat that complemented the richness of the pancetta, and the pasta itself was cooked exactly right. You can tell care goes into both the ingredients and the preparation.
A lovely atmosphere and attentive service made the experience even better. We will definitely be returning.

First time coming here and it didn’t disappoint. Warm welcoming staff. Lovely chic decor. They were able to make gluten free pasta for my daughter. Lovely authentic Italian food. Lots of options for vegetarians. Family friendly. Great portion sizes and overall a lovely evening out with the family. Will definitely be coming back here.

Huge thanks to Tina, Nardy & All Bellaccino’s wonderful Team! Superb catering for our large party of 14! All our meals were absolutely delicious, served hot, and at the same time, despite folk arriving at different times! Nothing was too much trouble – you catered for extra special dietary requirements in such a relaxed atmosphere! Bellaccino’s made our NZ family reunion dinner truly memorable, we felt like part of your family! A true diamond-status family run business with a heart, in the heart of St Albans! Thank-you!!

Loved the food! We had the best ever Arancini in this restaurant, which we haven’t tasted the same anywhere in London! Tried pizza with goat cheese which was great and nice risotto! Definitely will go back again for the Arancini!

Bellacinos catered amazingly for our large group of 20. We were able to order from the main menu and the food came out all at the same time and it was all hot and tasty. Great service too as we pretty much had a waiter overlooking the table constantly ready to take drink requests etc even though we were upstairs. Thank you for having us.

Wonderful accoglienza at Bellaccino’s. We managed in time for the lunch offer, and we’ve been really surprised by the generous portions of the dishes. This is what “Italian” stands for. The lovely staff made us feel so welcomed and Dina was the most helpful into accommodating wine our choice. Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a delicious rich meal portion, and impeccable services. All the ovation to the chef who coocked the risotto. Perfect al dente porcini mushrooms risotto
