Had dinner at Grinderz and the cheeseburgers were outstanding – juicy patties, loads of melty American cheese, grilled and raw onions, crisp lettuce, and pickles on a toasted brioche bun. Fries were hot, crispy, and generously portioned.

Cozy shop, so much cool skate stuff to look at, and some of the best burgers/fries I’ve had in California. I got the pigsty burger with the pigsty fries, and everything was amazing. Great presentation, and cooked perfectly. Awesome service as well!!

Grinderz: Great Service, But Food Needs a Flavor Boost
I visited Grinderz today and was immediately struck by the attentive service. It’s clear the staff genuinely cares about what they do, and that level of dedication really makes a positive impression.
Where I diverge from some other reviews is on the food taste. While the service was top-notch, I found the food itself to be lacking in flavor and the selection a bit limited. It wasn’t bad, but it just didn’t have that “wow” factor I look for.
Despite my personal take on the food, I do like Grinderz based solely on the excellent service. I wouldn’t want to discourage anyone from trying the food themselves—after all, taste is subjective! It’s just one person’s palate, and your experience might be completely different.

Delicious food and even better service. Kind of a small restaurant and they have an automatic 20% tip included on the bill so be careful. Would go back because burgers are fairly priced and of the service.

I didnt have food but as a man on a mission to try ice cream along my trip I was super happy to find this little milkshake gem. Great service and wonderful milkshakes. While there check out the small shops like the toy store where its all 80s 90s toys.

Last time I was here was in 2014 !! I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for great food and a unique atmosphere. The burgers, fries, and crafted beer are all excellent, and the 1990s skateboard theme is a fun bonus.

Solid burger and fries spot . Wish there was a location closer to where I live. On the pricey side but most places are nowadays. Yes the food is as good as pictured . Staff that, despite not being the actual owners, work there are proud of the food they make/sell and advertise as such. Place is cool; has a very 90s skater vibe which I dig. Grateful they had jalapeños for me
