My new Pho spot! Love it here, the food is always consistently delicious and the service and atmosphere is great. Their Pho broth is so flavourful, the beef they use is always tender and lean unlike some places I’ve tried that have a lot of fat, and I don’t even like beef balls, but these ones are so good. I ordered the chicken wings for the first time and they were really tasty. They really put the fresh in Fresh Rolls and the peanut sauce is perfect. Really love this place

Food was served pretty quick. Good portions size and the ambience was great.. we got the grilled chicken vermicelli noodle, rare beef tenderloin & well done flank rice noodle soup, grilled chicken on broken rice, grilled chicken, grilled pork chop, steamed egg meat loaf on broken rice and fried chicken wings in bbq sauce. The food was good and I recommend this place.

We got the pork and rice and got pho noodles — food was solid and filling. Service was fast and everything came out quickly, which I appreciated. Place felt clean, and the atmosphere was straightforward and fuss-free. Portions were decent, and the flavour hit the spot. Overall: good value, good meal, and I’d come back.

I had a great experience in here. The pho was delicious, the broth was rich and flavorful, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was especially impressed by the cashier. Even after I had already paid, she kindly told me about the restaurant’s “10-second game” where customers can win a prize. Thanks to her, I got to participate and actually received a reward, which was a really nice and unexpected surprise.

hidden germ in Scarborough!!!! the food are really tasty and flavourful Staff is nice and friendly!!! i love their coconut desert so much, they said that the desert is their famous one and it’s famous for a reason!!! it’s not sweet at all but so much like coconut milk taste, you absolutely have to try it. and also the pho beef noodle, i tried the pho dac biet and the taste is different from other stores that i’ve tried: beefy and tasty, not too salty and MSG!!! overall everything here is amazing should check it out guys

Another newcomer joining the fold is Pho Ahn Vu, an addition to the growing chain that’s spreading across the GTA. Its claim to fame: an ornate dining room with fake pink blossomed trees that’s photographed just as much as their actual food.
To be fair, their food tastes good too. If you’re feeling hungry their bún thịt nướng (or rice noodles with grilled meat) dishes are very filling. It starts with a generous portion of vermicelli and tops it with your choice of protein.
The grilled pork, spring roll, and shrimp on sugarcane ($22.95) offered a bit of everything including cardboard thin slices of marinated pork, a hot and delicious crispy spring roll, and a golf ball sized fried shrimp paste that made up for its petiteness with flavour. Along with a mix of fresh herbs, julienned cucumber, bean sprouts, pickled vegetables, and roasted peanuts it’s a cool refreshing dish for the warmer months.
My tip: try the dish with a mixture of their chili sauces. That hit of heat goes so nicely with the fish sauce vinaigrette.
Their pho is tiny in comparison. The special rice noodle soup ($17.95) had a decent amount of protein with slices of rare beef tenderloin, well done flank, a couple cubes of tendon, maybe two beef balls, and a couple thinly sliced tripe, but a scant portion of noodles. So, you’ll either want to upgrade to the larger size ($21.50) or add a side dish to round out the meal.
At least their broth was on point – full flavoured and perfectly seasoned. I only wish it was hotter as it became lukewarm after the raw bean sprouts were added. Like the vermicelli, their pho contains several herbs creating a bright bowl of noodles.

Today I visited Phở Anh Vũ in Scarborough and had a wonderful experience. The food was very delicious, especially the phở — the broth was rich and flavorful. I also had fun playing their small game and felt very lucky to win a little prize. I really enjoy the food here because it tastes amazing, and the staff are friendly, cheerful, and very attentive. This place truly deserves 5 stars!

The Phò Nąm offered comforting simplicity, while the Phò Tái Nąm combined rare tender beef with well-done flank for the perfect mix of textures in every spoonful.
