Red chili chimi is my go to at a Mexican restaurant… This one was $12.50!!!!! Like what . The combo plate was $15 and some change the chimi did look better in that plate in size. This was my first time trying this place. The chimi was soggier then a wet burrito. It was maybe the use of the wrong tortilla, the oil was not hot enough, the tortilla to meat ratio? Idk it was not worth the drive honestly especially in this heat ! The red chili was very flavorful except it was shredded like tamale meat and usually in a chili it’s cubed beef . If you’re looking for a good red chili chimi here are my too favorite places. 1.) St Mary’s price and flavor unmatched, 2.) Guillermos double L restaurant 3.) Little Mexico .

Went on Saturday while the Rodeo was going on with lots of traffic looked at the menu and asked for Carne Asada burrito, but they were waiting on a delivery. We ended going to another restaurant for my grand-daughter’s but ended up going back to Los Jarritos to get our burritos.
Staff were great, pleasant personable, and appreciative that we waited. The burritos hit the spot while we were watching my grand-daughter’s soccer ⚽️ games at Rodeo Park! While we didn’t order the Pozole, someone was eating it outside and it looked delicious.
The restaurant is small, a couple of small tables outside. Call in orders available, catering as well.
Good food, good staff, worth the visit!

Just happened to drive by this little restaurant and I am so glad we stopped to have lunch here! Staff were so friendly and the food was quick and very good. There is not much for seating (just a couple tables outside) but very easy to grab as take out to eat elsewhere.

One of my employees recommended breakfast burritos here and it didn’t disappoint. Also the person at the counter was very friendly. My employees also like the soups from here and bring them in often. I’ve tried them and they’re delicious.

I notice the HUGE change after Doña Frances left- after more than 20 years going there I will opt to be a customer where prices are more reasonable (30 for 3 burritos & one was missing one ingredient). I can understand price hikes but when one calls to complain & excuses is what you are greeted with… it’s time to go to a place that will get the order correct & get better customer service.

This red chili carne plate is hands down the best. Close to homemade cooking if not better. I wish I had ordered a second plate. The first plate is going down too fast. I am hooked on their red chili and look forward to when I can try other dishes by this small mom and pop gem in the desert. Excellent little mom and pap shop for excellent traditional Mexican food. Very friendly staff and speedy service. I enjoyed the beef tamale plate and side red chili tamales.

So I’ve been getting breakfast often here at Los Jarritos, but for some reason the breakfast burritos are not what they use to be. I made a mistake and ordered chorizo with no egg thinking it was chorizo and potatoes. It was just chorizo, so i asked if they could add potatoes because I can’t eat just chorizo alone. So they pretended to remake my burrito, they just add like 3 potatoe strips. I couldn’t eat it as it’s too much chorizo not enough potatoes. I tried to call them to let them know about the issue. You can’t even get through if you call after 12:30 they just ignore your calls. They get 0 stars for poor customer service and not answering the phone, not everyone is calling to order, thay might be calling to let youknow order was wrong. Lets see what they tell me tomorrow about this issue.

I had the red chili burrito one day , green chili burrito and also ordered a dozen red chil beef tamales. Everything was authentic and delicious. I highly recommend it. Another thing was I did not have to wait very long for the order at all.
