The staff was very nice and the place had a very homie and small town cafe feel. I don’t think we have enough places like this!!
Everything tasted great the bacon was cooked perfectly wasn’t too crunchy or too limp.

wait was MUCH longer then expected and waitress was unattentive and snobby. as someone who works in the service industry, they need to change something and quickly. food was mediocre at best. as someone who isn’t a local and was in town for the weekend, it’s extremely disappointing seeing this is what we wasted our money on. will not be returning.

40 minutes for a basic brekfest. Coulnt refill my drink once and Then when I brought attention to my order not being right the waitress stared at me without a word and just walked away. Kind of crazy this level of service has become the new norm. Not for me wont be back To any of this owners establishments in town.

What an incredibly mixed bag. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich as I wanted something light, cold, crunchy, and refreshing – what i got was whole chunks of chicken in what appeared to be pure mayonnaise. Not a dice of onion or celery to be spotted, just pure bland thick whiteness. Couldn’t get more than three bites in. However, the Swedish pancake I ordered was literally so delicious that I ended up adding on a second one. The sweet potato fries were just okay but looked a little overcooked to my eye and maybe felt a bit dry texturally. To get my protein in since I couldn’t do the chicken sandwich, I asked for an over-medium sunny-side up egg, which was just okay and a little underdone to my taste with some translucent white around the yolk; the turkey bacon, which was pretty good; and the sage sausage link, which was actually juicy, even though I wish it had been browned on more than just one side. In conclusion: I would only recommend going if you absolutely know that what you want is an item they do well, because there are some ups and DOWNS on this menu. (Unless you know you only want Swedish pancakes. Then I can unreservedly recommend that you go.)

We ordered breakfast for pickup 2 days in a row because our hotel didn’t offer it. It was recommended by someone in town. Reasonable prices and big menu and ala carte section. Captain’s Platter was recommended and was enough for 2 (as we anticipated). The Swedish pancakes were enjoyed, scrambled and poached eggs, yogurt and granola, egg sandwiches, carrot cake, blueberry muffin was right out of the oven and loaded with berries. Busy on a Sunday morning but our order was ready. Recommend!

I ordered the Eggs Benedict one Tuesday morning in late May. The dish was less than what it should have been. The product used could have been better. The hash browns were skimpy and lacking. The atmosphere and service, however, were pleasant.

We were there this morning having breakfast before boarding the Badger. They were very busy. The waitress informed us she was alone and we could seat ourselves. I have to admit, I initially thought it wasn’t going to be a good experience. Boy was I wrong. The waitress kept the coffee full. The food was done quickly and correctly. And the prices were extremely reasonable. I had steak and eggs. My daughter had eggs benedict and a swedish burrito. The food really was very good. If I’m ever in the area again I would definitely visit and highly recommend.

Brenda’s cafe is a staple of downtown Ludington. Each time my fiancé and I visit we make a point to stop here for a meal. We love the breakfast! The stuffed French toast is one of the best items on the menu! It is impressive to see Brenda running around and making sure everything runs swimmingly. Your coffee will always be hot and fresh here! Make sure to stop by if you’re hungry – if there’s a wait it’s totally worth it! Also, the bathrooms are very clean especially considering the high volume of traffic the establishment serves.

Walked in and was quickly seated with no wait. Meagen was our server and she did a fantastic job. Orders were delivered fast and the taste was second to none. Happy to have found my new favorite restaurant in Ludington.
Ordered coffee, Monte Cristo, sprite, and a Reuben sandwich with tater tots. The 50¢ upcharge for the tater tots is definitely worth it. They were crunchy little bites of potato bliss. Can pay by scanning the QR code on the bottom of receipt. It worked great.
Everything was awesome! Highly recommend!
