This Place is Closed. Closed several years ago, Building has since been taken down and a new building has been built and I believe has 1 or more busineses now in it the new structure. You will have to go to another location to get your steak burger now.

Can honestly say after still sitting for over an hour as one of the only 2 tables here just waiting on chili I wont return. The pictures show the sad state of this restaurant these dirty tables and shake spilled all over sat here the entire hour and a half we were here and watched multiple employees walk by look at it all and do nothing about it. Also the discussion between the employees that can be overheard by the customer is outrageous staff was very rude when I brought attention to it

Sometimes amazing. Just don’t go late. Sometimes I think they have volunteers not employees. Because I would fire them. Update August 30th 2018 after visiting the neighboring establishment completely employed by Mongols I decided to try to give this location a try. Apparently this is what common core causes because a cup of chili to them is a bowl full of understandable goo. I don’t know what that is it possibly is chili sauce but whatever the case after the agonizing wait in line and having to knock on the window and remind them they did not give me the chili, I recommend that nobody ever go here. If you’re in the mood for Steak and Shake pull out of hammer and bash yourself in the head because you’re going to get more food out of that then you would by going to them.

So I’ve been to this location multiple times and have always had a good experience. The service has always been excellent. Every time I’ve gone they haven’t been busy though which I guess is a blessing. I’ve never had my order wrong with this location but I generally dine in. The last time I was in I was in for breakfast and it was delicious and tasty. At first though it was 5 minutes before breakfast was over and she told me that breakfast but once I told her what I wanted they were able to work that out for me and I was able to get breakfast. That made me happy.

DO NOT EAT HERE. The absolute worst SnS experience in over 45 years of being a customer. Was there tonight, not very busy, no one waiting, 5-6 tables were dirty. Was told it would be a few minutes to be seated. 15 minutes later and 3 parties behind us waiting when a single woman came in and they proceeded to seat her in front of everyone waiting, like none of us were there, but we all had parties of 2 or more. After being seated we were the very last ones waited on. 2 more couples came in and were seated 10 minutes after us, ordered and received their food before we even received our drinks. We now have 35 minutes invested in this visit with obviously no employee giving a care if anyone ever gets waited on or served. Never, ever again. You are the worst. Saying you suck would be a compliment that you might strive to achieve some day. I will be sure to tell everyone I know of the lack of service, and will never pull on your parking lot again or spend a dime with you. Love Steak ‘n Shakes food, Hate your lack of service and customer care, you give the chain a bad name and it deserves better.

Steak and Shake is just a good old fashioned hamburger like it is supposed to be. They have great onion rings too and great shakes and malts. This particular location has extended hours, I try not to eat fast food too often but when I do I might drive out of my way a little bit to go to the Steak and Shake, it’s that good! The service has always been fantastic and fast and the food delicious. The parking lot is very well laid out and it’s easy to get in and out of the restaurant and back on with the rest of your day and isn’t that part of what fast food is supposed to be about. But really the food is great and it is generally offered at a great value they have a number of $5 meals at any time and any one of those burgers is it going to hit the spot.

The worst experience I have ever had at a Steak n Shake.
Food, service, table waiting all horrible.
We were there not quite an hour and not once received a refill let alone any check in from the waitress. I would have understood if it was busy and she was short staffed. Not the reason. We saw two couples seated and never received service.

Getting better. Still took 35 min. In drive threw with 4 cars. Much improved from 2 weeks ago when we waited a hour and did NOT get a burger. But didn’t pay for it either. Steak n shake still have best burgers in town.

Poor service due in part to poor training.. but really.. it should be common courtesy to see if your customer wants a second cup of coffee. Literally watched our waitress wipe tables near us, sweep near us, check on other tables, and never once look in our direction or ask if we needed anything.
Figured she’d check on us or at least look our way to motion her over. Tired of waiting after 25min. A different waitress took care of us after I confronted our original one as she sat in a booth chatting.. and I informed her we needed a second cuppa.
No one wore name tags.
Manager comp our items as we were never given a ticket. I tipped the second waitress well.
