The food came out very hot and fairly quickly. The chicken parm I had was fairly decent. The sauce that it came with was very good. I expected a canned sauce taste and it definitely exceeded my (low) expectations.
The only drawback is that our service was spotty at best with our table running out of drinks several times over the course of our meal.

Walked in and there’s a sign that until further notice they’re not serving any food containing avocados. Then as we order we’re told that they’re out of steak, I reorder roast chicken only to be told they’re out of roast chicken.
The service is poor, slow, and less than attentive. It has been awhile since I was there and this visit proves I will not be back.

I think I’ve just come to realize Mimi’s is not my thing. My chicken sandwich was dry and rubbery, my soda was flat, and my server had to deal with an entire dining room, so we didn’t get much attention- all for an overpriced tab. My only bright point- the corn chowder was delicious and much needed on a brisk evening!

This place looks nice. Once we sat outside but had trouble getting service, we ended up munching on some bread from the other table before our orders were taken. A poorly spoken bonjour greeting tells you that this is not really french, or even ‘french inspired’, but a decent place for american standards. It is a chain restaurant. The food is decent, a good range of eggs, steaks, burgers, and sandwiches, but not very lively.

First time at Mimi’s, they seated us and we waited 20 mins to order and none of the servers knew who had our table. They did this to another table as well. My dad had to go up to someone and tell them we never got our orders taken. Then they got someone to take our orders but came back and said they ran out of chicken and it’d be a while so had to change my order.

Not a fan at all. Not only is this place not at all friendly for vegetarians, but they were out of EVERYTHING. I asked for avocado on my grilled cheese- they were out, so I settled with tomatoes. I asked for a side salad- they were out (huh!?), and the waitress said they only had caesar salad, which isn’t vegetarian. What she meant to say was they only had romaine lettuce sprinkled with parmesan, and she could bring a different dressing on the side. I settled for that. Someone else in our group asked for spinach salad and they said they’re out of spinach. The grilled cheese was decent- I liked the garlic bread they use, but they forgot the tomatoes. I reminded the waitress three times before she brought a plate with two slices of tomatoes. Also, the bread they brought out- the muffin things were cold. So gross! And I was so sick for the entire day after eating here. Do not recommend.

This place feels a lot like a cafe inside Disneyland, as far as the decor goes. The food is not bad, but not spectacular. Stick with the infallible dishes like bacon and eggs. Anything more adventurous usually ends in disappointment here.

The salad and grill are so delitious and the environment is very good. The waiter is very friendly and gave us an additional muffin without additional charge! Highly recommended.

Had the grilled Atlantic Salmon for dinner. Came over a bed of cooked spinach and a potatoes au gratin shaped in a square. Fish was not as thick as other restaurants so it was tender. I’m not a big fan of Salmon but Mimi’s does it right for me 🙂
