I am in Walter Reed taking care of my mother during her cancer treatment during the snow storm of Jan 2016. I am holed up in a hotel room with very little food and all stores are closed. Although the roads are now clear, all other delivery joints are closed. Golden City’s food is not that great, but the speed and service made up for the standard Chinese/Thai take-out fare (their Thai takes like Chinese). Anyway, when they answered their phone today I was extremely happy, because like I said, no one else is open. That was until I found out they were adding a $10 “surcharge” to all deliveries. Way to exploit a situation, Golden City. I order from you at least twice a week because I cannot cook here in the hotel, but not anymore. I hope your attempt at gouging your customers bites you in the ass.

A fairly good American Chinese restaurant with fresh quality ingredients and reasonable price. Good vegetables quality and quantity which I think separates this place from other American Chinese food places.
